Select highlights

The highlights of this week include Pokémon Café Mix which is available for both Nintendo Switch and smart devices. This puzzle game sees you as the owner of a café that Pokémon visit. Work alongside Pokémon to prepare drinks and dishes for Pokémon customers by completing puzzles. The puzzles require you to link Pokémon icons of the same species together by swirling them around. Increase friendship levels with Pokémon, upgrade the café, and attract new Pokémon.

Another highly anticipated title is Ninjala. Inspired by Splatoon, ths online action battle game sees you use Ninja-Gum to blow bubbles that can be used to defeat your opponents. Up to 8 players can battle it out including 4-on-4 matches. There’s also a single-player story mode available at DLC, which you can read about at this post.

Other highlights releasing this week include the turn-based strategy RPG Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia which sees you attempt to conquer the kingdom of Runersia in a game that features six major powers with more than 40 bases, 100 knights, and 50 types of monsters. Mr. Driller DrillLand is an encore version of the GameCube classic featuring updated graphics and HD cutscenes. There’s also an all-new casual mode added. Izanagi Games also are releasing their first Nintendo Switch title this week till the full motion video game Death Come True.

Available for preload this week include the FAIRY TAIL RPG which requires 6.0 GB but doesn’t support English, and two Nippon Ichi Software games with the horror title Yoru, Tomosu and the rhythm game MAD RAT DEAD – as always with Nippon Ichi, both support Japanese text only.
