Namcot Collection Line-up Detailed
Bandai Namco Entertainment have revealed the future line-up of its Namcot Collection (Namco Museum Archives) for Nintendo Switch.
The second and third DLC sets release in August and October respectively, each adding a further 10 titles. There’s also a second privilege for purchasing 20 titles with the Famicom Arranged Version of the arcade shoot ’em up Gaplus, which is the third in the series which also includes Galaxian and Galaga. Pac-Man Championship Edition is the first privilege, available with 10 purchases.
An error has occurred with the first DLC set which has temporarily been removed from the Japanese Switch eShop for giving the purchaser the second set of DLC titles instead of the first set. The packaged version however delivers the correct set. Bandai Namco have acknowledged the issue and apologised for it, but haven’t explained how they will rectify it at time of posting.
Purchase the packaged version of Namcot Collection at this link. Physical copies include the first DLC pack consisting of 10 games. The games are also individually priced at ¥330 on the eShop with the first DLC pack also available collectively for ¥2,640. Wagyan Land is playable for free.
