GoNNER 2 Announced For Switch
Raw Fury and Art in Heart have announced the roguelike platform sequel GoNNER 2 for release on Nintendo Switch in late 2020.
The game sees players go on a journey through deep dark chaotic places with unimaginable sparks of colour as you go on a mission to help Death rid a mysterious presence from her lair. Battle crazy bosses and lose your head (a lot) in this messy, cute, fast-paced procedurally-generated platformer.
Publisher Raw Fury also announced that the top-down twin-stick shooter West of Dead is coming to Nintendo Switch on August 5. Descend into the grim and gritty world of Purgatory in this fast-paced cover shooter which combines the fluidity of twin-stick controls and tactical cover usage. Dodge behind cover as you try to outgun your enemies in the unknown procedurally generated hunting grounds.
Rounding off the trio of Raw Fury announcements is the murder mystery adventure game Night Call coming to Switch on June 24. West of Dead sees you play as a a cab driver working the Paris night shift, where you are many things to different people. Your gift is getting people to talk; and in order to catch the serial killer who left you for dead, that’s exactly what you’ll need to do.
GoNNER 2 and West of Dead both support Japanese text although we haven’t heard confirmation of a Japanese release. We’ve reached out to the publisher and will update this post and our Schedule in due course. Edit: Raw Fury have said they don’t have any plans at present to release any fo the three titles in the Japanese market and will probably look to a Japanese-specific PR company to help with promotion once they do.
