Thursday Update:Animal Crossing: New Horizons Updated, Plus More News!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons saw a Version 1.2.0 update (patch notes here) and the Nature Day event. SuperData also report that the game sold 5 million digital copies worldwide in March, breaking all records.

● PLAYISM announced a physical LA-MULANA 1&2 package for Japanese Switch release on August 6. The first game will also get a digital release on the same date. Check out the package contents and announcement trailer here.

● Spike Chunsoft announced that Indivisible Yami wo Harau Tamashii Tachi will release physically and digitally for Switch and PS4 in Japan on July 16. Check out the Switch box art and announcement trailer here.

● Imagineer announced that Fitness Boxing (or “Fit Boxing” as it’s known as in Japan) has surpassed 700,000 physical shipments and digital sales worldwide on Nintendo Switch.

● In an update to yesterday’s story: a Bandai Namco US representative claims that Digimon Survive being listed as TBD in Weekly Famitsu was an error.

● The Dragon Marked For Death Version 3.0.0 update will be live after most people read this. It was previously postponed for a few days due to the coronavirus.

● Kadokawa Games updated the Switch version of LoveR Kiss to Version 1.0.3 fixing photo bugs. Patch notes (in Japanese) added here.

● This week’s Nintendo eShop line-up was one of the most impressive this year. Check out the complete list at this post. Newly added without prior announcement were a Dead Cells – The Bad Seed & Rise of the Giant bundle for ¥2,850 and R.I.P Rest in Pieces for ¥888.

● Newly available to preload this week include DAIROKU:AYAKASHIMORI for ¥7,150 and Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! for ¥2,772. Both the Umihara Kawase game and Himitsu no Pet saw playable demos available.

● Coming to the eShop next week (April 30) include Game Center Club for ¥1,500, Himitsu no Pet for ¥1,580, Mars: Chaos Menace for ¥1,000 , Minna no Hanafuda for ¥1,980, and Monster Viator for ¥1,320,

● Newly announced for May 7 include Ministry of Broadcast for ¥1,480 and Niffelheim for ¥2,149.

● The upcoming Monster Farm (Monster Rancher) update will add one save data slot with up to 12 purchasable at at ¥120 each or ¥980 for a set of 12. 6,700 CDs from October 2019 to January 2020 will also be added.

Dr. Mario World updated to Version 1.3.5 adding both character and stage adjustments. Today’s content update also saw the Help Koopa Paratroopa Clinic Event, the Dr. Daisy Pack, and a limited sale on both items and continues. New stages will also be added on April 27.

Dragalia Lost will see Gala Dragalia begin tomorrow with the dragon Mars added. Check out Mars’ profile and the event trailer here. Ciella’s Wrath will be also added to The Agito Uprising on April 28.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Tap Battle: Illusory Dungeon: History Unveiled begin with 8-bit Marth and Claude accessories. The Relay of Destiny map is also available in Tactics Drills: Grandmaster.

● The Famitsu charts haven’t been published at time of posting due to the coronavirus but this week’s Nintendo-only Famitsu Most Wanted is posted here with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 topping the most wanted and Ushiro topping the newcomers.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock decreased today by -320 (0.68%) in Japan to close trading for the day at 46,660.00 JPY.
