Splatoon 2 is back in the news with a Version 5.2.0 update (see this post), a Special Demo event (see this post), and a Team Mayo vs Team Ketchup Splatfest (see this post).

● Nintendo have ended production of the following Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Controller Sets: Grey, Neon Yellow, and Red. It is unknown whether this will also affect individual Joy-Con and Switch bundles once supplies run out.

Super Mario Maker 2 updated to Version 3.0.0 adding a World Maker mode, Koopalings, SMB2 Mushroom, Frog Suit, Power Balloon, Super Acorn, Boomerang Flower, and much more detailed in the full patch notes here.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will see a Trials of Mana spirit event begin on the game’s launch (April 24) adding the new spirits Duran & Angela, Kevin & Charlotte, and Hawkeye & Riesz pictured here.

Nintendo Switch updated to Version 10.0.1 with “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.”

● Bandai Namco Entertainment postponed the survival / tactical RPG Digimon Survive from 2020 to “TBD” on both Switch and PS4 due to developmental issues.

● One of the latest Japanese My Nintendo rewards is a free (as opposed to 100 Platinum Points required) ticket for a Nintendo Switch Online 7-day trial. The full list of rewards is as always posted here.

● Igrasil Studio have launched a Kickstarter for the strategy RPG War of Ashird (or “Senjin no Ashird” in Japan) for 30 days looking for approximately $80,000 with delivery expected on 2021 on PC and 2022 on consoles.

● Teyon Japan announced a new update of Human: Fall Flat for Switch will arrive in Japan on April 30 adding three new skins. The PS4 version will arrive later.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw Lobo’s solo table cookie back in stock with the special memory pictured here.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Bound Hero Battle: Ryoma & Sakura, with the two also joined by Hinoka for a Summoning Focus. Today also saw Grand Hero Battle Revival – Naesala: Sky’s Shadow return.

Mario Kart Tour saw the Trick Tour begin adding Builder Mario and Builder Toad along with much more detailed at this post along with the tour trailer!
