● The pictured Ninjala will see a “Ninjala Exclusive Ninja Club” open beta on April 28 and 29 with global times linked to from this post.

● The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Twitter account posted codes for how to get both a Tom Nook flag and Tom Nook tee for the game.

● Sega updated Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – The Official Video Game adding the 4x100m relay sport, a new Character Code feature, and all top athletes reappeared including the freestyle wrestler Saori Yoshida in all sports. Yoshida video posted here.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment will soon be updating My Hero: One’s Justice 2 adding a Cheerleader Costume Set (for ¥1,100), special scenes for three Shiketsu High School characters, and 4-player local wireless support for 2VS2 battles.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Switch and Animal Crossing: New Leaf for 3DS both top their respective eShop charts. Check out both top 10s here.

● One of the highlights on the Japanese Switch eShop sales this week include 45% off DAEMON X MACHINA which will be priced at ¥4,290 until May 12 with the DLC all 20% off too.

Dr. Mario World will see character balance adjustments for Dr. Luigi, Dr. Yoshi, Dr. Toad, Dr. Bowser Jr., and Dr. Diddy Kong next week. More details posted here.

Dragalia Lost will see the Fire Emblem: Lost Heroes event revival begin on April 20. Details posted here.

Fire Emblem Heroes today saw the Mjölnir’s Strike: Counter phase and saw round 2 of Røkkr Sieges. April 20 will see Special Heroes: The Start of It All featuring Marth: Legacied Hero, Caeda: Princess of Talys, Merric: Changing Winds, and Palla: Sisterly Trio. Introduction video posted here.

Mario Kart Tour will see the Trick Tour added on April 22 where every course will include a trick variant. A new character is also expected.

● CoroCoro Comic announced an Animal Crossing: New Horizons manga beginning in the June issue, out May 15 in Japan. Teaser image posted here.

● This week’s full Nintendo only software and hardware charts for Japan have finally been posted here with Animal Crossing: New Horizons selling almost 300,000 more units. The multi-format top 10 is posted here with Final Fantasy VII Remake on top!

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock decreased today by -170 (0.36%) in Japan to close trading for the week at 46,830.00 JPY.

● Dotemu announced that Streets of Rage 4 will release in the west on April 30 with the new trailer here. 3goo will publish in Japan (as Bare Knuckle IV) at a later date.

● QubicGames announced the 2D ARPG Dex, the strategy game Door Kickers, the action adventure game Godfire: Rise of Prometheus, the hack-and-slash RPG Good Night, Knight, and the boxing game Real Boxing 2 all for Switch. Check out the “Direct” presentation video here.

● I’m guessing this should go in the Switch news section if reported upon tomorrow – M2 will give more details of their Toaplan titles coming to consoles tomorrow along with details of the arcade shoot ’em up Senjin.

NyaNyaNya! Neko Mario Time returned after several weeks (here) and has ditched the numbering with a new date system (2020.4.17). The latest episode features Good Job!, Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan Encore, and Nintendo Switch Online.
