CERO Announce Suspension of Business
Japan’s Computer Entertainment Rating Organization (abbreviated as CERO) have announced suspension of operations from April 8 until May 6, 2020, and possibly after. The suspension is due to Tokyo being declared a state of emergency by Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. CERO add that it is not possible for staff and reviewers to work from home. All staff will be on standby at home, and the office will be closed during this time. It’s inevitable that multiple game releases will now receive delays going forward until normal service resumes.
