Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the Coral coloured Nintendo Switch Lite are both now available. New Horizons sales are expected to open high in Japan (New Leaf opened with a massive 721,786).

● Roseverte announced they are porting the cute fantasy romance visual novel game How to Take Off Your Mask (known as “Anata no Kamen no Hazushi-kata” in Japan) to Nintendo Switch. Check out trailers for the original release here.

● Naps team will also be bringing the anime-inspired action adventure RPG Baldo in Japan later this year. Check out a gameplay trailer here.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate saw the “Stop Hitting Yourself!” tournament begin featuring fighters using reflecting moves. Check out he full list of rules, available fighters, and items at this post.

● GungHo revealed that Ninjala is still currently in development, despite there being no new information for around 10 months.

● The next shipment for the Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition is scheduled to reach Japanese retailers in early April.

Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – The Official Video Game saw a rotation of the top athletes with Akiyo Noguchi & Tomoa Narasaki (Sport Climbing), Kaho Sakaguchi & Reika Murakami (Beach Volleyball), and Yasuo Inoue (Judo) now available. Check out videos for them all here.

● Free costumes for Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Elektra, and Deadpool will arrive in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order on March 25. Check out the teaser image here.

● Game Studio updated Kishi Fujii Souta no Shogi Training to Version 1.0.2 adding patterns, greetings, bug fixes, and balance adjustments.

● Prototype opened up the official website for Little Busters!Converted Edition which reveals pre-order bonuses and retailer benefits etc.

● Hamster announced three more Arcade Archives titles for Switch with all three being Konami games. The 1985 shoot ’em up Gradius for Switch, the 1990 shoot ’em up Trigon (or “Lightning Fighters” as it’s known in North America and Europe), and the 1991 side-scrolling run and gun game Sunset Riders are all scheduled for the near future.

● The Nintendo eShop (Switch, Wii U, and 3DS will undergo maintenance on March 24 from 13:30〜15:30 JST (March 23 from 21:30〜23:30 PT).

● Koei Tecmo Games will update Monster Farm (Monster Rancher) on Switch, iOS, and Android in early April adding more save data slots, a Tournament mode, more music data, and a new monster.

● Dodge Roll Games have updated Exit the Gungeon to Version 2.0.2 on Steam. The Switch and Apple Arcade versions will come soon. Check out the patch notes here.

● A Version 1.01.00 update to GRANDIA HD Collection will also be available for Switch and for the individual PC titles on March 24 PT (likely on the 25th in Japan when the domestic version launches).

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Tempest Trials+: Full-Bloom Bout begin featuring the 5★ Special Hero Bartre: Earsome Warrior.

● The Japanese indie game show Tokyo Sandbox 2020 has been postponed from April 11-12 to the first weekend in October due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Nintendo TOKYO opening hours are also set to change again from March 23 to 11:00~21:00 (they’re currently 11:00~20:00 and were previously 10:00~21:00).

Animal Crossing: New Horizons‘ final pre-order points on Comgnet are 805 which is above Pokémon Sword & Shield (766).

● No trading in Japan today due to public holidays so Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock finished the week at 37,230.00 JPY.
