● The 2006 animated movie Doubutsu no Mori (Animal Crossing: The Movie) will re-air on the Kids Station channel in Japan on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons launch date (March 20).

● The Nintendo Switch Lite Coral and the Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition began today in Japan. The former has sold out on Amazon Japan and the My Nintendo Store saw the return of Nin-Godzilla!

The Wonderful 101: Remastered‘s Kickstarter finished with ¥235,320,528 ($2.25 million) pledged from the goal of just ¥5,425,000 with 33,199 backers and unlocking the stretch goal of Orchestral Recordings for “The Won-Stoppable Wonderful 100” and “Tables Turn”.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is still the best-selling Japanese Switch retail game of all time after three years of the console’s history. Check out the full top 30 here with nine million sellers listed.

● Eastasiasoft will be publishing Lumini on the Switch eShop worldwide on March 26 which is probably best summed up by viewing the trailer here.

● Square-Enix are holding a Dragon Quest series sale in the Japanese Switch and 3DS eShops with up to 40% off a total of eight games. Check out the full list here.

● With Mekorama no longer appearing on 3DS, a couple more games I’ve crossed off the Schedule are 0000 (which is available on the Switch in the west as “Zero Zero Zero Zero” and Picontier which is now just listed for Switch and PC. The only two games still scheduled are the shoot ’em up Mani Yugi TOKOYO and Mighty No. 9 which still hasn’t been officially cancelled but isn’t expected to release.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw Leif’s flower stand return (pictured here), Leif’s Spring Flowers and Flower Festivale items available for Reissue Crafting, with some new bugs and fish appearing later this month!

Dragalia Lost saw the featured boss Qitian Dasheng added to Astral Raids.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw an update to Special Maps: Rival Domains with a bonus for defeating foes with infantry allies.

Super Mario Run saw the Weekend Spotlight: Heroines return with items relating to Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Pauline, and Toadette.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-order points on Comgnet are currently 434 (Final Fantasy VII Remake is second place with 215 points). These numbers are before today’s pre-orders began for the Animal Crossing console and Coral Switch Lite.

SXSW (South by Southwest) has been cancelled due to coronavirus fears. Sega say they’re working hard to bring the Sonic Panel content in a new format this April.
