The Best-Selling Japanese Switch Games

The top 30 best-selling retail Nintendo Switch games in Japan since its release on March 3, 2017 have been revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine (Issue No.1631). Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is number one and also sold the most in 2018 (2,360,655), Pokémon Sword & Shield is second and also sold the most in 2019 (2,989,134), and Splatoon 2 is third and also sold the most in 2017 (1,752,096). There are nine million plus sellers, including five at two million plus, and three of those at three million plus.
