Pokémon HOME is now available on the Switch eShop, App Store, and Google Play worldwide and enables 35 more Pokémon in the Sword and Shield games. Pokémon Bank and PokéMover (Poké Transporter) have been updated to to Version 1.5, Screenshots posted here.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will see a “Ready? Wallop!” spirit event begin this Friday (February 14) for five days featuring Cuphead, Mugman, The Devil, and King Dice spirits. Artwork here.

Nintendo Switch Online will receive an update on February 19 adding Breath of Fire Ⅱ Shimei no Ko, Pop’n TwinBee, Atlantis no Nazo, and God SlayerーHaruka Tenkuu no Sonata in Japan and Pop’n TwinBee, Smash Tennis, Shadow of the Ninja, and Eliminator Boat Duel in the west. Videos posted here.

● Artdink announced that a new game in the illustrious A-Ressha de Ikou (A-Train) series will be coming to Nintendo Switch. More news as we have it!

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix will see a Season Pass for ¥4,950 featuring six additional music packs, each featuring new songs and costumes. The first pack will be live with the game (probably by the time you read this!).

● With a Trials of Mana demo icon uploaded to the PlayStation Store servers, it stands to reason that a demo will also appear on the Switch eShop sometime in the near future.

● Sting will be publishing their second Switch game after Macho de Pon! ZZ with a port of the GBA, PSP, and smartphone tactical RPG Yggdra Union: We’ll Never Fight Alone for release on March 5 priced at ¥1,800 (likely this price is excluding tax). Check out older videos for the game here.

● SAT-BOX announced the basketball game Tsukue de Basuke (Desktop Basketball) for release on the Japanese Switch eShop on February 27 priced at ¥850 with preloads live from February 13. Introduction video posted here.

● Beep and All in! Games will release the platform game Deadlings (priced at ¥549), the racing game Little Racer (priced at ¥1,099), and the top-down shooter Nougui Alien (It came from space and ate our brains) (priced at ¥1,799) all for release on the Japanese Switch eShop on February 13. ● This week’s Hamster release is the 1980 SNK gallery shooter Arcade Archives Sasuke VS Commander priced at the usual ¥838. Screenshots posted here.

● Hanaji Games announced that the Switch version of the vertical scrolling shoot ’em up Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo is essentially up and running but needs a little work. Check out the video here.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp updated to Version 3.1.0 adding a second floor to cabins and allowing you to eat multiple fortune cookies at once. Check out the full patch notes here. Mario Kart Tour saw the start of the Vancouver Tour adding the new drivers Aurora Rosalina and Hiker Wario. Check out the video here.

Granblue Fantasy Versus was the best-selling game in Japan this past week selling 86,248. Ring Fit Adventure was the best-selling Switch game for the week with 23,149. Animal Crossing: New Horizons game pre-orders brought Switch sales up to over 100k despite the special edition console pre-orders being delayed. Check out the full top 10 software here.

Weekly Famitsu review scores included Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers with 36/40, Katana Kami with 32/40, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r] with 32/40, Akai Ribbon with 25/40, Stories Untold with 31/40, Mosaic with 29/40, Masou no Viator with 27/40, Roof Rage with 30/40, and Everything with 31/40. Famitsu digital estimates for November 25-December 29, 2020 include Pokémon Sword/Shield with 107,924, Fortnite Darkfire Bundle with 94,603, Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training for Nintendo Switch with 35,543, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with 35,305, Futari de!Nyanko Daisensou with 34,382, Human Fall Flat with 32,721, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with 32,520, and Minecraft with 21,494.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-order points on Comgnet are currently 168 (Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently 177).

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock decreased today by -90 (0.22%) in Japan to close trading for the day at 40,560.00 JPY.
