● Just a quick weekend news update: CoroCoro Comic promise an Animal Crossing: New Horizons scoop in the March issue out 15 February in Japan. Check out the teaser scan, along with a Nintendo Dream cover, here.

● We haven’t reported this but rumours abound of both a 2D Metroid game and Paper Mario game releasing for Nintendo Switch in 2020. Neither have been officially announced.

● Full details of Yo-kai Watch 4++ at the Yo-kai Gakuen Y Booth at World Hobby Fair Winter ’20 are at this post with several rare medals at the event.

Pokémon Sword / Shield has broken Famitsu’s record of the longest consecutive number ones with nine weeks, beating Pokémon Diamond / Pearl with eight.

● In mobile news: Sable’s knitting table has arrived in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (picture here), Valfarre has returned to Dragalia Lost‘s Astral Raids, Fire Emblem Heroes saw Summoning Focus: Tempest Trials+ (with Chrom, Caeda, and Virion), Bound Hero Battle: Sigurd & Lewyn (plus a Summoning Focus, adding Silvia), and Mario Kart Tour will see the Luigi Cup as next week’s ranked cup.

● In videos: another TV commercial for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, Reincarnation karaoke version for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, the full concert for Rockman Live 2020, the Pokémon Dallas Regional Championships Day 1 video, a Dragon Quest Rivals Brave Cup Winter 2019 Offline Qualifying video, and a Nintendo Minute video for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
