● The World Hobby Fair Winter ’20 line-up is beginning to take shape with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons booth resembling the Nintendo Live and Jump Festa events with the game not playable. Check out the full list of playable Switch games at this post.

● The Switch version of The Battle Cats (Futari de! Nyanko Daisensou) will indeed have player vs. player battles with the mode debuting at the World Hobby Fair (see above link for dates).

● Nikkei had an incredible interview with Nintendo Co., Ltd. President Shuntaro Furukawa, which I’ll be posting translations from on the front page over the coming days. Furukawa revealed that Pokémon Sword & Shield is his favourite of the recent Switch releases.

● I’ve posted more lifetime-to-date charts with the Japanese 3DS Virtual Console charts (posted here) with Super Mario Bros. on top, and the DSiWare charts (posted here) with 10 Second Run on top.

● Ishikawa Toys have released a Super Mario Mini Badminton Set in Japan priced at ¥1,628 for both Mario and Luigi rackets pictured here.
