● After 2019 collaborations with both Fire Emblem Heroes and Mega Man, the ARPG Dragalia Lost will kick off 2020 with a Monster Hunter collaboration where you can add Rathalos to your team. Check out the teaser video here.

● Flyhigh Works announced physical releases in Japan for Shovel Knight (on 02 April for ¥3,960, Human Resource Machine Deluxe (on 12 March for ¥6,600), and Celeste (on 23 April for ¥3,960). The company also announced a Flyhigh Express video presentation for 27 December. Times and video here.

● City Connection announced Super Real Mahjong PV LOVE♡2~7! for Switch, releasing on 23 April priced at ¥6,578 with a Special Edition also announced. Check out more details including the box art here.

● Prototype announced the visual novel Little Busters! Converted Edition will be ported to Switch this Spring and will include touchscreen controls and English language support.

● Kadokawa Games announced that METAL MAX Xeno Reborn will release for Switch on 26 March priced at ¥7,128 with a limited edition also announced for the game.

● Success announced the puzzle game collection Nanpure 10000+Puzzle no Mado for Switch release on 12 March priced at ¥3,278, and including the games Nanpure 10000, Oekaki Puzzle 1000!, 〇×Logic 1000!, and Kanji Nankuro 1000!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will see a “So Comfy! So Cool!” spirit event from 27 December featuring spirts wearing shorts. Check out the full list here.

● Success confirmed that Umihara Kawase BaZooKa!! will release physically in 2020 and is priced at just ¥3,080.

● Koei Tecmo Games updated Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout to Version 1.0.10 adding Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese text to more download contents, as well as bug fixes, display fixes, and support for additional content.

● Level-5 updated Yo-kai Watch 4 to Version 2.1.4 fixing bugs where players couldn’t progress in the Pura-pura Busters mode after defeating Sproink or Hoggles.

● Atlus say that Shin Megami Tensei V is “under active development” in this week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine.

● Alfa System updated Sisters Runner to Version 1.0.1 which fixes an issue with the game freezing and reduced loading times.

Futari de!Nyanko Daisensou is the Christmas number one on the Japanese Switch eShop overthrowing Pokémon Sword (Sword and Shield are counted as separate games on the eShop).

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw the Go for the Goals event return, more Lottie classes added to Happy Homeroom, and the animals Erik, Maddie, Henry, Olive, Murphy, and Kevin all pictured here.

Dr. Mario World will see new stages added tomorrow with a new doctor as a reward for clearing the special stage!

● Famitsu digital estimates from 29 October – 24 November in Weekly Famitsu have Pokémon Sword / Shield with 629,636, Luigi’s Mansion 3 with 72,600, Romancing SaGa 3 with 53,288, and Groove Coaster Wai Wai Party!!!! with 24,319. ● LukPlus have announced that the classic puzzle game Coropata will release on an undisclosed platform in 2020. It’s unknown at present whether it will be a port, remake, or sequel.

● In today’s niconico livestream featuring game creators born in 1970, PlatinumGames’ Hideki Kamiya said “We’ll be able to release interesting news next year.“ Other creators present included Yosuke Saito, Masahiro Sakurai, Takashi Anzai, Jin Fujisawa, and Taro Yoko.
