Nintendo TOKYO opens this Friday in Japan with today seeing a press event. Check out a collection of Famitsu press photos (and video!) at this post. The venue will sell 1,000’s of merchandise items, have a gameplay area (which includes Ring Fit Adventure), plus a large-ish screen where it presumably will air Nintendo Directs etc.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been nominated for three awards at The Game Awards with “Game of the Year”, “Best Fighting Game”, and “Best Family Game”. Check out all the nominees for the top prize along with all Nintendo’s nominees at this post.

● Taito finally announced that the first Bubble Bobble game in 24 years Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will release for Switch in Japan in February priced at ¥5,280. More information will be in tomorrow’s issue of Weekly Famitsu (full preview posted here with the other featured Nintendo game being SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays.

● Idea Factory will publish Collar×Malice for Nintendo Switch (containing both Collar × Malice and the fan disc Collar × Malice -Unlimited-)for Switch in Japan on 12 March 2020 priced at ¥7,700.

● The fourth Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DLC pack releases next week (28 November)in Japan adding Klaudia’s Story “Atelier Klaudia”, Extra High Difficulty Area “Secret Solitary Island”, and the GUST Extra BGM Pack. Screenshots posted here.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers news is set for 29 November during an on Abema TV “Persona 5 the Animation Cafe Leblanc Attic Broadcasting Station S” broadcast.

● CIRCLE Ent. announced the Japanese release for All-Star Fruit Racing in Japan this week (21 November) priced at ¥2,240. Japanese trailer posted here.

● Mediascape / Masakazu Yanai announced that the 8bit-style RTS game Little Bit War will release on the Japanese Switch eShop in early December.

Dr. Mario World will see maintenance on 21 November followed by the addition of (presumably) 20 new stages. No new doctors nor assistants were announced.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw New Heroes: Guardians of Peace featuring Larum: Sprightly Dancer, Perceval: Knightly Ideal, Echidna: Unyielding Idealist Igrene: Nabata Protector, and Chad: Lycian Wildcat. Mario Kart Tour updated to Version 1.2.1 on the Google Play Store fixing the game breaking bug on Android devices. The Winter Tour tomorrow will also add Mario (Santa), Pink Gold Peach, and Black Shy Guy. Check out the new Mario Kart Tour News, Vol. 3 “Where did Lakitu go?” video here.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock increased today by +260 (0.62%) in Japan to close trading for the day at 42,330.00 JPY.

● The Nintendo eShop will finally be coming to the Hong Kong and Taiwan region and the Korea region in the winter, allowing users to purchases games directly from the eShop.

Nintendo of Europe announced digital sales for 22 November – 01 December on the eShop with over 150 titles discounted. Highlights include Super Mario Odyssey (30% off), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (30% off), Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda (30% off), New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (30% off), Dragon Quest Builders 2 (30% off), Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (30% off), FIFA 20 (30% off), DARK SOULS Remastered (40% off), Dragon Ball FighterZ (70% off), Wolfenstein: Youngblood (50% off), and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (50% off).

● Nintendo announced that Samurai Shodown will now release in the west in Q1 2020 but will include a code for Samurai Shoown! 2 on Neo Ge Pocket. Release window announcement trailer posted here.

● Square-Enix have announced a Dragon Quest X Online browser version for 2020 release where the game will be playable on most smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Beta testing will take place from 02-12 December.

● Square-Enix also announced Dragon Quest Builders 2 for Steam release on 10 December (11th in Japan) priced at ¥7,480 and including most of the game’s DLC.
