Pokémon Sword / Shield is now available on the Japanese Switch eShop and at retail in a few hours. The games currently occupy the top two positions on the eShop (Sword > Shield). Check out the Famitsu cover here with the inside back cover advert to be posted tomorrow!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate updated to Version 6.1.0 fixing the issue when Terry’s Super Special Move “Buster Wolf” connects with an opposing fighter causing both Terry and that fighter to become unable to move from their positions.

Tokyo 2020 Olympics The Official Video Game updated adding in Judo, plus players can challenge Yasuo Inoue and Shinichi Shinohara at judo and Takeshi Matsuda at 200m swim until 28 November.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout was updated to Version 1.0.6 in Japan which adds Chines language support, Photo Mode, Weasel Roast, Puni Companion, LEGEND difficulty, and more.

DAEMON X MACHINA saw free Eureka Seven DLC today with a large update planned for 28 November. Check out the DLC artwork, screenshots, and trailer here.

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX updated to Version 1.3 adding French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Portugese language support, and more. Full patch notes posted here.

Ninja Box updated to Version 1.1.0 adding the new online “Infiltration” mode. Check out some screenshots and promo video at this post.

Samurai Shodown will add the DLC character Kazuki on 18 November for PS4 and XB1. The Switch version (of the game) releases on 12 December, although no date for the DLC. Trailer posted here.

● A video message from Overwatch Legendary Edition director Jeff Kaplan for Japanese fans.

● Bartolomeo and Cavendish will be playable characters in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4. I’ll likely make a dedicated post once the official assets are made available.

● Hamster will be publishing the classic Irem shoot ’em up Arcade Archives In the Hunt (Kaitei Daisensou) on the Switch eShop next week (21 November) priced at ¥838. The game also saw PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and Windows ports. Switch screenshots posted here.

● Arc System Works announced they will republishing the Switch version of Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX next week (21 November) priced at ¥1,000. They previously published the 3DS version back in 2015. Japanese Switch trailer posted here.

Minecraft Dungeons launches for PC and consoles in April. Check out the release date announce trailer here.

● The niconico app updated to Version 3.4.0 adding the ability to browse series created by video contributors, changing the ranking categories from Ages to Genres, and you can filter each genre renaming by favourite tags.

The Legend of Dark Witch updated to Version 1.0.3 fixing an array of bugs that are posted in full here.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will see Bree’s Boutique Cookie arrive tomorrow. Look out for a dedicated post then! There’s the videos posted here along with details of today’s Pop Quiz: Anniversary Party.

Dr. Mario World saw Versus Seasons and a new Virus Event both begin. The former added the assistant King Boo to Tier 7 and the latter’s rewards are posted here.

Dragalia Lost updated to Version 1.13.2 fixing an issue where High Zodiark becomes unable to attack under certain conditions in High Zodiark’s Trial: Master.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw pre-registration for Røkkr Sieges, which begins on 16 November. Today saw the new map, Of Princes and Mercs, added to Tactics Drills: Skill Studies.

● This week’s full Nintendo-only Famitsu software and hardware charts have been posted here with great holds for Luigi’s Mansion 3 (54,680) and Ring Fit Adventure (52,240) plus new entries for Fortnite Darkfire Bundle (6,115) and Eiga Sumikko Gurashi Tobidasu Ehon to Himitsu no Ko Game de Asobou!Ehon no Sekai (3,123).

● The DENGEKI TOP 50 had one more Switch new entry with The Fruit, Labyrinth, and Eden of Grisaia Full Package (1,407).

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock dropped today by -250 (0.59%) in Japan to close trading for the day at 41,790.00 JPY.

● The figma Splatoon Boy is now available for pre-order (here) in both standard and DX editions. The DX Edition adds in a second Inkling Boy, as well as Judd and Lil ‘Judd figures! Check out the full gallery here.
