● A relatively quiet week in Japan with the launch of Ring Fit Adventure (which looks sets to be number two this week, the announcement of several Gigantamax Pokémon, and Nintendo’s mishandling of the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE censorship issue.

● From Monday’s update: Nintendo Live 2019 closed with MkLeo, Nairo, and Mr.R winning the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Challenge Cup. The file size for Pokémon Sword / Shield was revealed to be 10.3 GB.

● From Tuesday’s update: Sonic was confirmed to be unlockable in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be at Jump Festa ’20. Bakutsuri Hunters launches on 07 December.

● From Wednesday’s update: Gigantamax Pikachu, Eevee, Meowth, Charizard, and Butterfree were announced for Pokémon Sword / Shield. Dimitri and Bernadette were voted top male and female characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

● From Thursday’s update: Nintendo revealed that the Japanese version of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will be censored similarly to the original western Wii U release. Megaton Musashi will apparently be playable at Jump Festa ’20.

● From Friday’s update: Nintendo apologised for their handling of the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE fiasco and offered refunds. Obakeidoro! will launch at retail in Japan on 19 December and Genso Manege on 30 January.

● From the weekend update: Mario Kart Tour will see Luigi, King Boo, and Waluigi all arrive this week. Kadokawa Games announced LoveR Kiss for Winter release and Root Film for Spring release on Switch and PS4.
