● A huge week for the now 130 year old Nintendo which saw the release of the new Nintendo Switch Lite console, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening game, and stock at the highest level (42,830 JPY) for almost 16 months!

● From Monday: the next Yo-kai Watch 4 update will add the Nobose Tonman boss and Dandanzaka map. Pokémon GO saw Unova region Pokémon from Black & White including Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Patrat, Lillipup, Purrloin, Pidove, Blitzle, and more.

● From Tuesday: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate saw changes to the online tourney, a Super Kirby Clash tournament was announced for TETRIS 99, and Monster Farm will launch on 28 November on iOS, Android, and likely Switch.

● From Wednesday: Sirfetch’d was officially revealed as an exclusive to Pokémon Sword, Square-Enix removed Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 from the Japanese 3DS eShop, and DAEMON X MACHINA sold 28,149 units in its opening week.

● From Thursday: Luigi’s Mansion 3 will get paid DLC for ScareScraper and ScreamPark, Splatoon 2 will update to Version 5.0.1 around 10 October, and Nintendo applied for patents related to password input and collision determination.

● From Friday: Fire Emblem: Three Houses will add Jeritza, Anna, Juris, Balthazar, Constanze, and Javi in future updates, Just Dance 2020 is coming to Japan, and an Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition demo released.

● From the weekend: Amzy cancelled the 3DS game Fly! Dragon, Masaharo Sakurai will appear on a Dragon Quest XI S livestream, and BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE will add Celica, Elizabeth, Adachi, Hilda, and Susanoo.
