Weekend Update:Dragon Quest Monsters, Atelier Dusk Trilogy, Angelique, And Katanakami All Announced For Switch!

● Square-Enix announced they will be porting the Game Boy Color game Dragon Quest Monsters Terry’s Wonderland RETRO to the Switch eShop on 17 September priced at ¥1,620. No world yet on a localisation. Check out a few screenshots at this post.

● Koei Tecmo Games announced that DX versions of the Atelier Dusk trilogy will be coming to Nintendo Switch (release date expected shortly) with the games Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX, and Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX. ● Koei Tecmo Games’ second Switch announcement is for a new entry in the romantic simulation Angelique series, releasing in 2020.

● Spike Chunsoft and Aquire announced a spin-of to Way of the Samurai called Katanamichi Gaiden KATANAKAMI and releasing in early 2020 priced at ¥3,980 + tax. Promo video posted here.

● Spike Chunsoft also announced that they will be publishing the sandbox game Terraria for Nintendo Switch in Japan this Winter with both physical and digital release planned.

● Numerous reports from the Tokyo Game Show have Quantum Peaks’ 3D hack ‘n’ slash game Bloody Bunny The Game will be coming to Nintendo Switch in early 2020. Promo video posted here.

● Season Entertainment announced the 3D robot action game CODE B.R.E.A.K. will be releasing Nintendo Switch.

● Resistance Studio announced the retro arcade game Pushy and Pully in Blockland for Switch eShop release in Q1 2020.

● The Dragon Quest trilogy is now available on the Japanese Switch eShop (the games launch on 27 September) priced at ¥648 for the first, ¥918 for the second, and ¥1,620 for the third. Only Japanese is supported. The website is also now open (here).

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw items from the Brewster’s Sweet harvest garden event are now available for Reissue Crafting.

Dragalia Lost saw the featured boss Shishimai added to Astral Raids.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw the beginning of the Lost Lore event, an update to Special Maps: Rival Domains, and the next Arena Bonus heroes announced. Full details posted here.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. applied for a trademark for POKÉ PLUSH in Japan for plushie related purposes! Check out the full application at this post.
