In news from the Dragon Quest Summer Festival: Dragon Quest X Version 5.0 will come to both Switch and Wii U on 24 October as Dragon Quest X Ibara no Miko to Horobi no Kami Online. The Switch version will include physical (but with a download code) including a Treasure Chest edition, where-as the Wii U version will be digital only. Check out the box art, Treasure Chest contents, and promo video here. Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition will see a demo version, although no release date yet. ● From lots of social media posts from Zentame this weekend (including this one), Ninja JaJaMaru-kun Collection has, as expected, been confirmed for Nintendo Switch release. It launches in Japan this winter and includes a new game called JaJaMaru no Youkai Daisakusen.

● Bandai Namco announced that Janemba will be joining the Dragon Ball FighterZ line-up on August 08 as paid DLC. Gogeta (SSGSS) is also listed as ‘coming soon’. Announcement trailer for both posted here.

● Arc System Works announced the fighting game UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r] for release in the west in early 2020. The game was previously rated for both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

● Double Drive announced the tower defence game Invasion of Alien X – Earth in Crisis (or ‘Wakusei Daisensou Iseijin X・Kyoufu no Chikyuu Shinryaku Tour’ in Japan) for release worldwide on the Switch eShop later this month priced at ¥1,200 in Japan or $9.99 in the U.S. Promo video posted here.

● Team Yurusama won Super Smash Bros. Ultimate yesterday’s National Elementary School 3v3 Smash Ball Cup tournament in Nagoya, Japan and will go onto the finals at Nintendo Live 2019 in October. Alice won the 1v1 Smash Ball Cup. Check out the full seven hour plus footage here

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Grand Hero Battle – Kronya: Gleaming Blade, Special Heroes Revival: A Sketchy Summer (with Tiki, Linde, Camilla, and Takumi), Special Heroes Revival: Nohrian Summer (with Corrin, Xander, Elise, and Leo), Daily Summoning Event: Countering Skills (with Ike, Hector, and Takumi), and an update to Special Maps: Rival Domains.
