Nintendo’s latest big game Fire Emblem: Three Houses has launched for Nintendo Switch worldwide. First week sales numbers are expected on Wednesday in Japan!

● Nintendo and Tencent announced a joint press conference for Shangai, China on 02 August where the Chinese release date for Nintendo Switch will likely be announced.

● Chinese launch titles are expected to be Super Mario Odyssey, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Eevee!, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

● Nintendo wrote in their latest annual report that: “We are working on the development of a new product that improves people’s QOL (Quality of Life) in enjoyable ways”.

● Nippon Ichi Software announced Makai Senki Disgaea 4 Return (Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited) for Switch release on 31 October. The company also announced Bokuhime Project,

● Bandai Namco Entertainment announced both Super Robot Taisen V and Super Robot Taisen X for Nintendo Switch with the former game releasing on 03 October in Japan.

● Square-Enix published a demo for ONINAKI on the Switch eShop with all data transferable over to the full game which is now available to preload for 10% off (¥5,637 instead of ¥6,264).

● Bethesda Softworks published the original DOOM trilogy on the Switch eShop worldwide although only DOOM (1993) and DOOM II (Classic) released in Japan, priced at ¥580 each.

● Nintendo announced a special themed Disney Tsum Tsum Festival Set for 10 October release including Switch console, boxed game, and DLC. The game also launches on that date in Japan.

● In Pokémon news: Tencent’s TIMI Studio Group are developing an all-new Pokémon game, Pokémon Rumble Rush released on the App Store, and Pokémon Duel will end on 31 October.

● In mobile news: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw Sanrio Characters Collection #2 with Pompompurin and My Melody, and Fire Emblem Heroes saw New Heroes: Three Houses with Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude, and Byleth.
