The Nintendo 2019 World Championship Tournaments begins momentarily with the Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019, Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3. Video feed added below. Post to be updated below with all the winners and any news!
Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019
● YellowKillerBee defeats TheDragonFeeney.
● Abdallah defeats The Completionist.
● The male pair defeated the female pair and will face off in the final.
● Abdallah wins the Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019!
● Takashi Tezuka is on stage to present the trophy. Treehouse courses likely coming to the full game.
Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019
● Team Japan (GGBOYZ) vs Team Australia (Lime Soda) in the first match. GGBOYZ win!
● Team USA (FTWin) vs Team EU (Alliance Rogue) next. FTWin win!
● Lime Soda vs Alliance Rogue next. Europe win and are 1-1!
● GGBOYZ vs FTWin next. Japan win and are 2-0!
● GGBOYZ vs Lime Soda in the first semi-final in Tower Control rules. GGBOYZ win! Edit: controller issue for Lime Soda and a rematch. GGBOYZ win again. Technically their fourth victory of the day! Now onto Clam Blitz. GGBOYZ are 2-0 in this best of 5. Splat Zones next. GGBOYZ are in the final and win 3-0!
● FTWin vs Alliance Rogue in the second semi-final. Tower Control. FTWin 1-0. Alliance Rogue win Clam Blitz. 1-1. Splat Zones next. Alliance Rogue won in a back-and-forth. 2-1. Rainmaker coming up. FTWin looking good and take the win. Down to the final in Tower Control. FTWin win 3-2. It’s a USA vs Japan final.
● It’s a GGBOYZ (Japan) vs FTWin (USA) final. It’s on! Tower Control. FTWin steal the win! Rainmaker next. FTWin deservedly take the win. 2-0. Clam Blitz. GGBOYZ steal it at the very last second! 2-1 to FTWin. Splat Zones next. It’s all even. So close to being 3-0 down moments ago, and now it’s 2-2! Splat Zones again. Amazing performance by FTWin but GGBoyz with an unbelievable comeback. 3-2 GGBOYZ. Rainmaker is the next game mode. GGBoyz win 4 in a row after being down 2-0. Unbelievable final. Congratulations to GGBoyz, the Splatoon 2 World Champions for the second year running!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3
● Team Japan of Konbu, Zackray, Kuro, and akasa vs Team Europe of SirJon, Light, RobinGG, and Thunda. SirJon (Zero Suit Samus) vs Konbu (Roy) kicks things off followed by 2v2. Even the commentators don’t know who won! And Europe take it!
● Team USA of Devonte, Wrath, Poltergust, and DTFaux vs Team Australia／New Zealand of Ghost, SebPro101, Ichigo, and PillowTalk next. PillowTalk (Bayonetta) vs Wrath (Joker) start things off. USA take the win.
● Japan taking on Australia／New Zealand next. Japan won and now 1-1. AU／NZ are 0-2. USA vs Europe. Europe win and face Australasia in the semi-finals with North America vs Japan.
● Europe starting strong in the semis! 1-0. Australia fire back. 1-1. Back-and-forth third match but Europe take it! 2-1.
● North America vs Japan now in the second semi. Japan take the early advantage. 1-0. Akasa is in for the Japanese team and has started strong but loses to Pac-Man. Final Smash! Cloud (aka) vs Yoshi (Post) to take the match. And Cloud meets his doom. 1-1 overall. And Japan win 2-1! Japan vs Europe final coming up.
● Joker (Japan) starts off against Palutena (Europe). Palutena down. Zero Suit Samus next. Three down. I missed one when making a drink! Second round sees aka with Cloud and Light with Corrin starting. Akasa again starts strong. Another victory for Japan! 2-0! Can Japan take the Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate world titles? Kuro immediately gets a win against RobinGG. Japan looking unstoppable. Except they’re stopped. Two fighters left either side! Down to a fighter each with Palutena in Europe and March in Japan. Palutena takes it! 2-1 overall to Japan. Game 4 and Konbu (Japan) vs Sirjon (EU). Already lost a fighter apiece. Konbu wins it! 3-1 to Japan! Amazing performance!
● Doug Bowser is here! Sakurai live from Japan! New DLC fighter to be announced at E3! Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Online Open begins June 2019 with four winners to appear at EVO. And end. Thanks everyone for reading!
