● Square-Enix revealed the magic Dragon Quest XII words today in the presentation that revealed their new Pokémon GO clone (see the ‘Mobile News’ section below). There’s nothing much more to announce at present and a release isn’t expected for sometime with more spinoffs expected first. Read the full translated comments at this post.

● Natsume Atari announced they will be publishing the survival horror game Friday the 13th: The Game / ULTIMATE SLASHER EDITION for Nintendo Switch in Japan on 29 August. Check out the box art and video here.

● Humble Bundle’s roguelike card game Slay the Spire will release on the Japanese Switch eShop this week (06 June) with Kakehashi Games handling the localisation. Check out the Japanese trailer here.

● Matt Makes Games has said that the upcoming Chapter 9 free DLC for Celeste will have over 100 levels. There’s no release date set for it yet.

● SmileBoom are preparing to update Puchikon 4 SmileBASIC to Ver 4.0.1 fixing the BASIC language problems and more.

● D-O Corporation are also about to update Hopping Girl Kohane Jumping Kingdom -Kuro Usagi no Hime- adding a gold box with S rank, an increase in reward stage money, a hash tag addition, and more.

● Square-Enix announced a Pokémon GO clone Dragon Quest Walk for release on iOS and Android later this year. Beta is open next week in Japan. Check out the game’s first promo video here.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Voting Gauntlet: Marital Bonds begin featuring Pent vs Sigurd, Bartre vs Quan, Louise vs Deirdre, and Karla vs Ethlyn in round one. The game will also be updated soon with new weapon skills and weapons to refine for some Heroes detailed at this post.

Pokémon GO will see Legendary Raid Hours between 18:00-19:00 local time on Wednesdays in June with Cresselia appearing on 05 and 12 June and Kyogre on 19 and 26 June.

BitSummit VIII will be held in Japan on 09-10 May 2020 with the theme of “RPG Time”.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced that The 79th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held on 27 June 2019 at 10:00.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd., also applied for a Pokemon Rumble Rush trademark in Japan for for a purposes including downloadable video game program, downloadable program for smartphone, and merchandise. Check out the actual trademark here.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares decreased by -180 (0.47%) in Japan today to close trading for the day at 38,520 JPY.

● In the UK charts: Blood & Truth opened at number one, Team Sonic Racing dropped to number three, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe up to number seven.

● H2 INTERACTIVE will publish the Moss shoot ’em up Caladrius Blaze on 18 July digitally with a physical Asian release (preorder here).
