● Idea Factory have announced the Frontier Works developed visual novel games for Nintendo Switch with Tlicolity Eyes -Twinkle Snowtime- releasing on 18 July, Katakoi Contrast -Collection of Branch- releasing on 22 August, and Jakou no Lyla ~Trap of MUSK~ for 19 September. ● Available on the Japanese Switch eShop right now and at retail in a couple of hours are (Japanese names): Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! (priced at ¥5,184), DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme 3 Scarlet (priced at ¥8,424), Lulua no Atelier ~Arland no Renkinjutsushi4~ (priced at ¥8,424), STEINS;GATE Divergencies Assort (priced at ¥8,424), and Super Robot Taisen T (priced at ¥9,288).

● In more details from the pictured SEGA AGES Virtua Racing: it will feature 1 vs 1 online races and up to 8-player split-screen local multiplayer (screenshot here), and will release this Spring on the eShop. No price was confirmed, so this maybe above the ¥999 of the other series’ titles.

● Primary Orbit announced the 3D RPG Märchen Forest: Mylne and the Forest Gift for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, although no release date has been set. Promo video posted here.

● Mechanic Arms announced both Sokoban Beginners and Sokoban Light for simultaneous release on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop. No release date has been set. The original Sokoban released on PC in 1982, with numerous home computer and console entries since then! Mechanic Arms also intend a sequel to the excellent DSiWare Nazo no Mini Game, although again no release date.

● Rainy Frog’s huge array of published content continues with the rogue-lite platform game Xenon Valkyrie+ coming to the Japanese Switch eShop in April priced at ¥999. Trailer posted here.

● The Lulua no Atelier ~Arland no Renkinjutsushi4(Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland) demo has now returned to the Japanese Switch eShop, although only Japanese language is supported.

● Today’s new preloads are the visual novel game Taisho × Alice all in one priced at ¥6,000 and the baseball game Tsukue de Yakyuu priced at ¥720 (the regular price is ¥800).

● The Japanese name for TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE will be Tiny Metal Kyokou no Teikoku where it will be published by DELiGHTWORKS Inc. in Japan this Spring priced at ¥1,800. Japanese trailer posted here.

Pocket Rumble will be published by DANGEN Entertainment in Japan with the Japanese trailer posted here.

Dragalia Lost will see Summon Showcase, Water’s Blessing begin tomorrow. Check out the featured adventurers Xander and Lily, and featured dragon Poseidon here.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Special Heroes: Regal Rabbits begin featuring Palla: Eldest Bun-Bun, Marisa: Crimson Rabbit, Bruno: Masked Hare, and Veronica: Spring Princess. Trailers and artwork posted here.

● Weekly Famitsu Issue No.1581 review scores included Yoshi’s Crafted World scoring 37/40, Aragami scoring 32/40, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes scoring 30/40, DIABOLIK LOVERS CHAOS LINEAGE scoring 31/40, Winning Post 9 scoring 32/40, RemiLore scoring 28/40, and The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame scoring 32/40.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced the completion of the acquisition of treasury shares as reported a few weeks ago. Today’s shares closed trading down -1.66% and are now at ¥31,490.00.

● The Behemoth announced Castle Crashers Remastered for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 release this Summer. Announcement trailer here.

● Bandai Namco Amusement are closing the online servers of the arcade version of Pokkén Tournament on 25 March. This will not affect the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

● Google announced the new Google Stadia videogame streaming service today which launches in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe in 2019. Watch the teaser video here.
