● Cosen announced the pixel-art platform action game Rotating Brave for the Japanese Switch eShop in February priced at ¥500. Trailer posted here.

● Cosen also announced the music rhythm game Yáng Chūn Bái Xuě Lyrica (just Lyrica for the localised versions) for the Nintendo Switch eShop this Spring priced at ¥2,000. Trailer posted here.

● The final Cosen announcement was the martial arts action puzzle game Monkey Wall for 24 January release on the Japanese Switch eShop priced at around ¥500. Playable monkeys posted here.

● Matt Thorson (Matt Makes Games) mentions some new Celeste DLC Chapter details:-

-It won’t be ready for the anniversary on Jan 25th, sorry!

-It’s all one continuous chapter, no B-Side

-It’s after the current hardest levels in difficulty

-No strawberries

-There are some new items/mechanics

-Free on all platforms

● Nomada Studio tweeted that “GRIS has been out for nearly a month and our team has been blown away by the reception and are working on a small thank you to the fans, more on that in a few weeks!”

Super Mario Run players received the pictured free Toadette Statue and 10 x Rally Tickets today to celebrate the release of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. There’s also a Weekend Spotlight on Toad and Toadette. Check out the appearance rates here.

Nintendo New York will see the second floor closed for a private event until 11:30 am on Tuesday 15 January.

● First 4 Figures shared a teaser trailer for their upcoming Metroid Prime – Meta Ridley Statue.

● Sega Games have applied for a 電子メダル (Denshi Medal) trademark in Japan including for “Program for home video game machine”.
