● The Famitsu livestream for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes today didn’t deliver the “huge announcement” that Goichi Suda promised although did deliver plenty more details for the game, particularly with the DLC ‘Black Dandelion’ and ‘Bubblegum Fatale’ which will both arrive in the first few months of 2019. The game is available to preload in Japan where it will be download only. A physical My Nintendo Store package will have no cartridge. Check out more details of the release at this post.

● Nintendo opened up the official website for New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe with the game also available to preload this week. Check out the introduction video and eight other new videos at this post.
● Kadokawa Games postponed the release of Langrisser Ⅰ&Ⅱ for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 from 07 February to 18 April 2019 in order to improve the quality. A demo for the game should also see release.
● CyberStep published the 3D online action game GetAmped Mobile on the Japanese Switch eShop as a free download but with in-app purchases. The Switch version requires 573 MB and supports English language. Japanese trailer posted here.
● Sega Games announced that their fifth Sega Ages series title will release within 2018 (likely 27 December) in Japan with SEGA AGES Gain Ground priced at ¥999.
● Takiya Iijima (who wrote Okuriinu) announced he is working on two new Nintendo Switch titles and will be looking for illustrators in the near future.
● Kayac have permanently reduced the price of the bullet hell shooter RXN -Raijin- on the Japanese Switch eShopfrom ¥4,212 to just ¥999.
● The mystery over PLiCy’s release of Revertia was finally resolved with the game available to all from 10:00 JST priced at ¥864 (the game was initially available to preload, then pulled, with the midnight launch failing to materialise, although those that had managed to oreload were able to play at midnight!
● Thousand Games announced that they have found a publisher and begun development for Synaptic Drive. The game is planned for Nintendo Switch and Steam in 2019.
● UNTIES updated the excellent Tiny Metal to Version 1.1.0 adding Online Multiplayer, Act V to the Campaign Mode, and Color Blind Mode. Check out the update trailer here.

● Fire Emblem Heroes saw the Grand Hero Linus: Mad Dog is back in Special Maps, plus there’s a new map in Tactics Drills: Grandmaster added. Version 3.0.1 is also now available.

● Ubisoft announced a free update to Starlink: Battle for Atlas for 21 December adding new enemies, a photo mode and more. Trailer for the update here. The game launches in Japan on 25 April 2019.

● Dengeki data has the Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle selling 4,307 in its opening week and Daedalus:The Awakening of Golden Jazz (Switch version) sold just 1,940.
● Nippon Ichi Software announced that Refrain no Chika Meikyuu to Majo no Ryodan (Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk) has shipped more than 150,000 units worldwide across all platforms.
