Smash Sells 5m In First Week
Nintendo Co., Ltd. President Shuntaro Furukawa has told the Kyoto Shimbun that he is confident Nintendo Switch can achieve 100 million software sales worldwide this fiscal year (sales of Switch software are at 42.13 million from April – September), Super Smash Bros. Ultimate achieved 5 million worldwide sales (including digital) in its first three days. Furukawa also states that in the future, “Nintendo will continue to introduce popular titles seamlessly”.
