● The 17th Splatfest for Splatoon 2 saw Villains defeat Heroes 2-1. Heroes winning both the Normal and the Pro rules but losing the Votes. Results announcement video and winning percentages posted here.

● Sega Games announced both SEGA AGES Puyo Puyo and SEGA AGES Puyo Puyo Tsu for Nintendo Switch, with both games priced at ¥999, based on the arcade version and supporting online battles. Announcement graphic and screenshots posted here.

● Nippon Ichi Software have postponed the release of their latest RPG DESTINY CONNECT from 28 February to 14 March in order to improve the quality. Promo video posted here.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment dated Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization for Nintendo Switch for Spring and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch for Summer 2019. Opening movie and promo video for Fatal Bullet posted here.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment have updated Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch to Ver. 1.10.02 adding the My Raid Mode and several seasonal outfits. The Extra Pack 4 DLC with SSGSS Gogeta and Super Saiyan Full Power Broly will be available on 19 December.

● Some concept art from Shironeko New Project with the interior of the new flying island, the guild and the weapon shop.

● FuRyu updated the official website for Doraemon: Nobita no Getsumen Tansaki (Doraemon: Nobita’s Chronicle of the Moon Exploration). Check out two new screenshots here and here and the box art here.

● Upon completing Onimusha and meeting certain conditions, a new mini-game One Spiritswill unlock. Check out the title screen. Also check out the panda and devil outfits!

Dragalia Lost saw the Summon Showcase Dragonyule Defenders begin featuring limited-time adventurers, dragons, and wyrmprints as detailed in this post. Today also saw the facility event The Miracle of Dragonyule where you can acquire a Yule tree, and the year-end log-in bonus where you receive 100 wyrmite daily.

Fire Emblem Heroes will see Tempest Trials+: Life is But Fleeting featuring Cecilia: Festive Instructor and Special Heroes: Gifts of Winter featuring Fae: Holiday Dear, Ephraim: Sparkling Gallantly and Eirikia: Gentle as Snow tomorrow. Japanese and English trailers posted here.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. applied for trademarks for both LAST WINDOW and FLING SMASH in Japan for purposes including ‘video game program’, ‘downloadable video game program’, and ‘program for smartphone’. Actual applications posted here and here.

EDITMODE (who sell officially licensed Nintendo clothing) announced that their old website (editmode.jp) was compromised back in July and are now operating from a new website (editmode.shop-pro.jp). All customers received an apology and 500 yen coupon.

● File under rumours and innuendo: Erdrick (Dragon Quest III) is being reported as a “leaked” character from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

● A big Dragon Quest Slime (pictured here) will be erected in Queen’s Square, Yokohama to commemorate the release of Dragon Quest Builders 2: Hakaishin Shidoo to Karappo no Shima.

● Avanti inc (an organic cotton company) have applied for two 1up trademarks in Japan.
