● First of all, apologies for posts not being displayed chronologically: 69 of my 14,000 posts were flagged as explicit, and now everything is out of sync! Since several have asked about my plans for Japanese Nintendo due to the recent changes at Tumblr: I’m open to suggestions of where to potentially move to although won’t be making any changes this year. Do follow me on Twitter @japanese3ds to be notified of any potential changes. No top story today although Nintendo Co., Ltd. stock took a nasty hit of -5.28% to close trading at 33,000.00.

● Nintendo revealed the Kensa Collection #4 which will be available in Splatoon 2 in a few hours time. Check out the Kensa .52 Gallon, Kensa Glooga Dualies, Kensa Mini Splatling and Kensa Rapid Blaster at this post.

● Mad Fellows announced that the rhythm action rail shooter Aaero: Complete Edition will release on the Japanese Switch eShop on 27 December (three days after the rest of the world) priced around ¥1,500. Announcement trailer posted here.

● Early purchasers of the Dragon Quest Builders 2 Additional DLC 1st and 2nd Bullet Pack on the Japanese Switch eShop (which is priced at ¥10,476) will receive some Yuubon sunglasses which are pictured here.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment today updated the website of the sandbox RPG Ninja Box adding new screenshots and more.

Karaoke JOYSOUND for Nintendo Switch updated to Ver.3.0.0 adding the ability to dress your Mii and more! I’ll write a separate post soon!

● Nintendo updated the Nintendo 3DS family of systems to Ver.11.9.0-42J with: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience”.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw the Voting Gauntlet: Nifl vs. Múspell begin with round 1 seeing Fjorm vs Sutr, Gunnthrá vs Laevatein, Hríd vs Laegjarn and Ylgr vs Helbindi.

● Player versus player Trainer Battles are coming to Pokémon GO later this month and will see you pick a team of three Pokémon and challenge a friend or another Trainer. Check out a couple of screenshots here.

● Two international listings have both Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Last Story II for Nintendo Switch at Sweden’s Init and Germany’s Media Markt respectively. The former is based entirely upon speculation, I have no idea regarding the latter.

● Nintendo have revamped the Fire Emblem World website with a better look at the history and characters of the series.

● Nintendo, Creatures and Game Freak applied for a trademark ピカ·ブイ (Pikavee – as in Pikachu and Eevee) trademark for purposes related to gaming and providing entertainment. Actual trademark posted here.

● Today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate images (posted here) featuring Bayonetta, Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem Heroes.
