● The Poké Ball Scavenger Hunt event began in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp with several Eevee (and Poké Ball) items including a free Eevee Hood! Full list with images posted here.

● Nintendo added Zelda no Densetsu Kanemochi Version (The Legend of Zelda: Rich Version) to Nintendo Switch Online letting you start with all items and plenty of rupees. Beating it unlocks a more difficult version of the game called Second Quest!

● D3 Publisher announced two games, both for 20 December with the Touch Detective puzzle game The Nameko no Puzzle -Nameko Dai Hanshoku- (priced at ¥3,024) and the visual novel Nightshade / Hyakka Hyakurou (priced at ¥5,940).

● Capcom announced Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. Best Price for 15 November priced at ¥4,309 and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers Best Price for 22 November priced at ¥3,229.

● Square-Enix announced they will release a Dragon Quest Builders 2: Hakaishin Shidoo to Karappo no Shima demo before the full game releases on 20 December. Check out more gameplay footage here.

● Marvelous announced Fate/EXTELLA LINK will be coming to Nintendo Switch on 31 January 2019 priced at ¥8,618 and including four-player local multiplayer, plus Punipuni costumes! Trailer and box art added here.

Super Mario Party opened with an impressive 142,868 units sold at retail in its opening weekend, although hardware didn’t see an as impressive bump (45,762). Full Nintendo charts posted here.

● The Splatoon 2 Octoling amiibo will see players get the Enchanted, Steel and Fresh Fish gear for the Girl, Boy and Octopus respectively. Pictures and video added here.

● The Japanese music app RecoChoku is now available on the Switch eShop and allows you to purchase and play up to 10 million songs, including those bought on the 3DS version. Promo video added here.

● And Nintendo Switch updated to Ver.6.0.1 resolving an issue where internet connection test did not display correct results for download and upload speed, and an an issue where some licensed controllers’ motion controls such as tilt function responded incorrectly.

● Nintendo have opened up the official website for Luigi Mansion.

● Famitsu have stopped tracking Wii U hardware numbers in Japan. The final numbers we have for Japan are 3,303,541.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp updated to Ver.1.9.0 today adding Sky Viewing Mode, and also saw Jack’s Puppet Theater (pictured here).

Fire Emblem Heroes updated to Ver.2.10.0 adding High Quality and Lite Data versions of the game, and saw Special Heroes: The Land’s Bounty featuring Mia: Moonlit Witch, Kagero: Beverage Ninja, Niles: Forbidden Tease and Myrrh: Spooky Monster. Trailers added here and artwork here.

Pokémon GO will see fourth generation Pokémon from the Sinnoh region including the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl starters Chimchar, Turtwig and Piplup. Trailers added here.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. applied for new trademarks in Japan for both Line Attack Heroes and (Animal Crossing) Let’s Go To The City. Actual trademarks posted here and here.

● A set of 10 Super Mario toys are coming to McDonald’s Happy Meals in Japan from 19 October including Mario, Yoshi, Luigi and Peach. Videos posted here with images here.
