● Nintendo updated Famicom Nintendo Switch Online to Ver. 1.1.0 adding the three new games and Zelda no Densetsu Kanemochi Version (literally ‘The Legend of Zelda: Rich Version’, but called ‘The Legend of Zelda: Living the life of luxury!’ in the English version). This is a special edition of the first Zelda game giving you plenty of rupees and items to start with. Beating it unlocks a more difficult version of the game called Second Quest!

● Level-5 postponed the release of Yokai Watch 4 to Spring 2019 and Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbinto Winter 2018-19.
● Marvelous announced Fate/EXTELLA LINK will be coming to Nintendo Switch on 31 January 2019 priced at ¥8,618. The Switch version includes four-player local multiplayer, plus Punipuni costumes! Trailer and box art added here.
● Super Mario Party opened with an impressive 142,868 units sold at retail in its opening weekend, although hardware didn’t see an as impressive bump (45,762). Full Nintendo charts posted here.
● Cosen announced the four-player action game Destruction for the Switch eShop this Fall priced at ¥1,000. Promo video added here.
● Oizumi Amuzio will publish the classic platform game Shantae -Kaizoku no Noroi- (Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse) on the Switch eShop on 25 October priced at ¥2,500. Launch trailer added here.
● Zerodiv will be bringing the PlayStation Portable shoot’em-up Sengoku Cannon for Nintendo Switch (Sengoku Ace Episode III) on the Switch eShop next week (18 October) priced at ¥864.
● Rarity are crowdfunding a new shooting game project on Campfire, looking for ¥3,000,000 ($26.5k) by 31 October where ¥3,000 ($26.5) will get you a digital copy of the game and your name in the credits! The game is planned for smartphone first, with a Switch version to follow.
● Dorasu announced they will be releasing the Block Crash series puzzle game Akihabara Crash! 123 Stage +1 on the Switch eShop on 29 November.
● Chorus Worldwide will announce two Nintendo Switch titles next week that they’ll be releasing this year.
● Mario Tennis Ace(s) will be updated to Ver.2.0.1 in a few hours time, reducing the power of a slice shot slightly but making it easier to direct near the net. Other changes include slight character adjustments to Rosalina, Chain Chomp, Waluigi, Peach, Toadette and Boo, and several bug fixes.
● This week’s Hamster published game was ACA NEOGEO Fire Suplex (3 Count Bout) priced at the usual ¥823.
● Unbalance announced their second Switch game with Saikyo no Mahjong 〜Bannin no Tame no Mahjong Dojo〜 coming to the eShop on 25 October priced at ¥1,980.
● Flyhigh Works will publish the puzzle game 7 Billion Humans on the Switch eShop on 25 October priced at ¥1,500. Two promo videos added here.
● Shin’en Multimedia will publish the puzzle game Art of Balance on the Switch eShop next week (18 October) priced at ¥1,000. Promo video added here.
● Team17 will publish the 3D puzzle game The Room on the Switch eShop next week (18 October) priced at ¥999. Announcement trailer added here.
● Drageus Games will publish the strategy game Tactical Mind on the Switch eShop next week (18 October) priced at ¥300 (you can preload for 25% off at just ¥225). Promo video added here.
● Eastasiasoft will publish the bullet-hell shoot ‘em-up Shikhondo – Shoku Tamashii To (Shikhondo – Soul Eater) on the Switch eShop on 25 October priced at ¥1,680 (you can preload at 20% off at ¥1,344). Promo video added here.
● Ratalaika Games today published a demo for the platform puzzle game TETRA’s Escape on the Switch eShop.
● Enji ‘Endeavour’ Todoroki is now available as DLC in Boku no Academia: One’s Justice (My Hero One’s Justice) priced at ¥350 with an additional mission also available for ¥210.
● And FIFA 19 scored 36/40 in Weekly Famitsu (FIFA 18 scored 37).

● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw new clothing available to craft with Black Formal Pants, Cloche Hat, Dress Socks, Flight-Crew Shirt, Monochrome Shoes, Red Plaid Skirt, Skull Shirt, Superhero Mask, Trench Coat and Work Shirt. Artwork added here.
● Fire Emblem Heroes saw the Special Heroes: The Land’s Bounty summoning event featuring Mia: Moonlit Witch, Kagero: Beverage Ninja, Niles: Forbidden Tease and Myrrh: Spooky Monster. Trailers added here and artwork here.

● Furuta are releasing a Super Mario Odyssey Chocolate Egg on 22 October priced at ¥216 with one of 16 figures inside! Four of which are pictured here.
