● Nintendo’s latest smartphone game Dragalia Lost has launched in Japan, U.S., Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. See more details of the first day launch in this post.

● The mystery new Pokémon who appeared in Pokémon GO was officially revealed as Meltan, who will also be in the Pokémon Let’s Go games. Watch the Japanese and English trailer here.

● Imagineer announced the Nintendogs-esque LITTLE FRIENDS -DOGS & CATS- for Nintendo Switch releasing on 06 December priced at ¥6,264.

● Kadokawa Games announced the visual novel game √Letter Last Answer (Root Letter Last Answer) for Switch releasing on 20 December priced at ¥5,918 and adding live-action graphics and new scenarios.

● Imagineer announced that the boxing game Fit Boxing will release for Switch on 20 December priced at ¥6,264. Nintendo will publish in the rest of the world as Fitness Boxing.

● Nippon Columbia published a demo for the cute Sumikko Gurashi: Atsumare! Sumikko Town game on the Switch eShop. The full game releases on 04 October.

● SE Mobile and Online today published the puzzle platformer Dokuro on the Switch eShop priced at ¥960. Trailer added here.

● Konami announced Super Bomberman R Smile Price Collection (a budget reissue) for 29 November priced at ¥2,980 (from ¥5,378). Box art added here.

● Sunset announced the mahjong solitaire game Shanghai Refresh for 29 November 2018 priced at ¥3,024. Introduction video and box art added here.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Katamari Damacy Encore (Katamari Damacy Reroll) will release on 20 December priced at ¥3,456. Box art and promo video added here.

● Capcom announced both Dai Gyakuten Saiban2-Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Kakugo- Best Price! (priced at ¥3,229 for physical and ¥2,990 for digital) and Dai Gyakuten Saiban1&2 -Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken to Kakugo- Best Price! (priced at ¥4,741 for physical only) for 18 October. Box art added here.

● RS34 announced the vertically scrolling shooter Illvelo Dillinjah (Illmatic Envelope Dillinjah) will return to 3DS eShop on 03 October priced at ¥1,000. The game originally released back in 2014 but was removed along with all other Klon games.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw the arrival of Alice, Ribbot, Rocco and Claudia to players’ campsites, plus the first half of the Jack’s Halloween Hunt gardening event.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw the new Legendary Hero Tiki: Legendary Dragon (pictured) for a summoning event and battle. Trailers added here with the artwork here.

● Sensor Tower report that the Nintendo Switch Online app has been downloaded over five million times (25% of the Switch install base).

● The next Pokémon GO Community Day on 21 October will feature the Steel and Psychic-type Pokémon Beldum.

Super Mario Run saw the Loads of Coins event return until 12 October where winning at Toad Rally during this period earns you 1.5 times as many coins as usual.

● Nintendo announced they will be localising Yokai Watch 3 in North America on 08 February and Europe this Winter.

● Koei Tecmo Games announced the Atelier Arland Series Deluxe Pack for Switch on 04 December in both North America and Europe.

● Koei Tecmo also announced Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World for early 2019 release.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. applied for trademarks for ヨッシークラフトワールド (Yoshi Craft World), Yoshi’s Crafted World and Yoshi (all three posted here), Kirby’s Epic Yarn (posted here), Super Mario and Mario Bros. (both posted here), Disaster Day of Crisis (posted here), Elite Beat Agents (posted here), Rhythm Paradise (posted here) and a Super Famicom-related trademark (posted here).

Nintendo Co., Ltd. won their lawsuit against MARI Mobility Development Co., Ltd. (formerly MariCAR Co., Ltd.). MariCAR were ordered to pay Nintendo ¥10 million ($88,700) in damages and to stop infringing their IP, although they do have the right to appeal.

Xenoblade 2: Ougon no Kuni Ira (Torna ~ The Golden Country) opened with just 5,697 units sold in Japans. Steins;Gate Elite opened with 13,433 on PS4 and 13,305 on Switch. Full Nintendo charts posted here.

● And Musou OROCHI 3 (Warriors Orochi 4) is in the Guinness World Records for “the most playable characters in a hack-and-slash videogame”.
