● Two lots of Splatfest results are in with Koshian (pictured top left) defeating Tsubuan 3-0 in Japan (percentages and video here), and Modern (pictured top right) defeating Retro 3-0 in the rest of the world!

● ICYMI from the weekend: Square Enix confirmed Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete S (Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age) is 100% coming to Nintendo Switch although they didn’t give even an approximate release date.

● Nomana Interactive announced the dungeon-based twin-stick shooter YOKO: Inquisitor of Hell (the full Japanese name is ‘Jigoku Chousakan Itsuki Kami Yoko (Kodama Yoko)’) for Switch eShop release. Trailer added here.

● Zerodiv confirmed the shoot ’em up Strikers 1999 is in development. This will most likely be for Nintendo Switch! Another Taisen Hot Gimmick game was again teased and will likely be Axes-Jong.

● The latest ARMS Party Crash event was announced for 28 September-01 October between Spring Man and Misango with a theme of ‘Timeless Showdown’!

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection International is now available to preload on the eShop priced at ¥4,860, requiring 5.0 GB and having English language support.

● Cosen are holding a trial event for Fight of Gods in Yoyogi on 07 October. Full details here and the game’s manual here.

● Drool LLC have reduced the price of Thumper on the eShop by 60% (from ¥1,999 to ¥799) until 01 October.

● Also from the weekend: Hamster announced their next batch of retro titles (16!) including Arcade Archives Donkey Kong JR. (check out the full list here).

● Today was Tsukimi (Harvest Moon Festival/Autumn Moon) in Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori (Animal Crossing: New Leaf) where Shizue (Isabelle) is in the Plaza with a free gift and face-cutout standee!

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players received a free gray splat hoodie yesterday (pictured here). Tomorrow should see Alice, Ribbot, Rocco and Claudia all arrive at your campsite!

Fire Emblem Heroes saw the Grounds of Water map added to Blessed Gardens yesterday. Pre-registration also opened for Grand Conquests which begins on Wednesday, with the battlefield being the northeastern part of the Jugdral continent from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War.
