Nintendo Switch Sells 5m In Japan 

Nintendo have sold over five million Nintendo Switch consoles in Japan according to Famitsu data who have the total figure at 5,007,368. It took 79 weeks to reach the number and 181 weeks for PlayStation 4. The top five selling games at retail in Japan are:-

  1. Splatoon 2 –  2,621,928
  2. Super Mario Odyssey – 1,788,228
  3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 1,738,502
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 1,065,780
  5. Kirby Star Allies – 591,721
