● Blizzard Entertainment officially confirmed Diablo III Eternal Collection for Nintendo Switch releasing in 2018 and including Ganondorf armour.

● From Software announced that Dark Souls Remastered will finally release on 18 October (19th in the West) alongside the Solaire of Astora amiibo.

● Devolver Digital announced the adventure game GRIS for Nintendo Switch from Nomada Studio, releasing worldwide this December.

● Kinoko No Yama (Chocorooms) defeated Takenoko No Sato (Chococones) 2 -1 in the 13th Japanese Splatfest. Results announcement video added here.

● The latest Jake Hunter game Tantei Jinguuji Saburo: Prism of Eyes failed to chart with Media Create and sold just 2,555 units at retail with Famitsu.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw Pascal’s Kiddie Pool, Fishing Tourney #5, and the brand new Flower Festival event.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Bound Hero Battle Revival: Corrin & Azura, Summoning Focus: Heroes with Draconic Aura, and more.

Super Mario Run will see the Bonus Medals you can collect on Remix 10 multiplied by 1.2 until 31 August giving players more chance to get rare items.

Pokémon GO will see Celebi available through Special Research from 20 August.

● Capcom released a Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate demo in both North America and Europe, featuring Great Maccao, Barioth, and Valstrax.

● Next weekend will see a North American Splatfest with the question of ‘Which utensil is more useful? The fork or the spoon?!’

● Nintendo of America announced a Walmart-exclusive Nintendo Switch bundle featuring Mario Tennis Aces and 1-2-Switch, releasing on 05 September, priced at $359.

● Atlus U.S.A. announced they will be localising the final Etrian Odyssey game for 3DS game on 05 February 2019 as Etrian Odyssey Nexus.

Ghostlight are now official Switch developers, and have already started work on their first port, a JRPG, that will be revealed soon.

● Handy Games announced that Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Owltimate Edition will be coming to Switch.

● Microids and Eden Games announced Gear.Club Unlimited 2 as a Nintendo Switch exclusive releasing in late 2018.

Unshou Ishizuka (the voice of Dr. Yukinari Okido/Professor Samuel Oak in the Pokémon anime and Pokémon Snap) passed away on 13 August from oesophageal cancer.

● Rumours abound that a New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe could be heading to Nintendo Switch in 2018 with potential new content.
