● Nintendo updated Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to Version 1.6.0 adding the Master Cycle Zero and Champion’s Tunic Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild including the Ancient Tires and the Paraglider parts! Trailer added here.
● Nintendo both reduced the price of ARMS from ¥6,458 to ¥4,520 until 02 August on the eShop and pblished an ARMS Trial Version with Springman, Ribbon Girl, Ninjara, Master Mummy, and Twintelle all playable.
● Nintendo updated Mario Tennis Ace to Version 1.1.2 with game balance update for all characters and nerfing of Bowser Jr, with more to come. Full patch notes added here.
● Nintendo also announced that Splatoon 2 to Version 3.2.1 on Friday 27 July (probably 26th in North America) fixing bugs from the recent 3.2.0 update.
● The next four Saturdays (28 July and 4, 11 and 18 August) will see 10 hour free play-days (10:00-17:59 JST) of Karaoke JOYSOUND for Nintendo Switch with reduced priced tickets also available.
● Bandai Namco Entertainment announced a Studio Ghibli Pack DLC for Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version! on 09 August. Full details here.
● Square-Enix again apologised for the scarcity of OCTOPATH TRAVELER at retail in Japan with recent shipments being small in number and no date for when it will be majorly restocked.
● Play,Doujin! announced the side-scrolling tactical RPG Magic Scroll Tactics for Nintendo Switch, although the release window was not specified. Trailer added here.
● Capcom announced that Torch Man will be in Mega Man 11 (Rockman 11: Unmei no Haguruma!! in Japan). Trailer added here.
● Devolver Digital reduced the priced of Enter the Gungeon on the eShop from ¥1,500 to ¥750 until 26 July with the Advanced Gungeons & Draguns update now available. Trailer added here.
● Nintendo announced the New Nintendo 2DS LL Hylian Shield Edition will be sold on the My Nintendo Store until 3 September priced at ¥17,258 with delivery from early October and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D pre-installed. Pictures added here.
● Level-5 published Inazuma Eleven for Nintendo 3DS as a free download for a limited time on the Japanese 3DS eShop for a limited time with 1,892 blocks required. TV commercial added here.
● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt #3 begin (until 31 July) with sparkle jelly gyroidite, plus trampoline, table, chairs, dress, tights and shorts. Clothing pictured here.
● Fire Emblem Heroes added the New Heroes (Ylissean Travelers) 5★ summoning event and announced a future Grand Hero Battle with Walhart: The Conqueror, Feh’s Summer Celebration, a future Version Update and New Event: Forging Bonds. Full Feh Channel recap and videos here.
● Nintendo Sales Co., Ltd. announced some Super Mario Travel Goods for Japan including neck pillows, eye masks, mobile slippers, luggage tags, suitcase belts, suitcase cover, folding tote bag, storage pouch set, wallet and passport cover. Pictures added here.
● Two new My Nintendo rewards saw 30% discounts for both The Legend of Zelda A4 Clear File (4 pieces set) and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild High Definition Acrylic Art Board on the My Nintendo Store. Pictures added here.
● Nintendo announced the Splatoon 2 Octoling amiibo will release on 09 November 2018 and available as either a three pack or as individual amiibo. Pictures added here.
