● An important week for Nintendo both looking back with the third year anniversary of the passing of former President Satoru Iwata, and looking forward with reservations open for the new Super Smash Bros. and Pocket Monsters games and the newly announced Wolf amiibo.

● PONOS announced a new version of their hit tower defence game The Battle Cats for Nintendo Switch this December as Futari de! Nyanko Daisensou.
● Gust announced that Atelier ~Arland no Renkinjutsushi 1・2・3~ DX (The Arland Atelier Trilogy) will be coming to Switch on 20 September as a collection or individually (as Rorona, Totori and Meruru DX).
● Level-5 announced that Yokai Watch 4 is now scheduled to release on Switch in Winter 2018 and featuring Natsume Amano, Keita Amano (Nathan Adams), and Shin Shimomachi (all pictured in new visuals here).
● Game Freak confirmed that Oddish, Sandshrew and Growlithe are all exclusive to Pokémon: Let’s Go! Pikachu while Bellsprout, Vulpix and Meowth will be exclusive to Eevee.
● Shinya Takahashi of Nintendo said that there will be further updates to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe although it is unknown what this will be exactly.
● Colopl announced an all new Shironeko New Project action RPG for release on Switch in 2020, based on the hit smartphone game that Nintendo have an ongoing lawsuit with them for!
● And Mario & Luigi developers AlphaDream are currently recruiting for an undisclosed Nintendo Switch game, and an undisclosed Tokyo studio are recruiting for a ‘3D Fighting Action Game’ for Nintendo Switch!

● Level-5 announced the football RPG Inazuma Eleven for Nintendo 3DS will release for a limited time for free on the Japanese 3DS eShop from 20 July at 10:00 JST.

● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw the second half of the Bloomin’ Booty with Kapp’n event begin and Julian, Pekoe and Boone arrive in the game!
● Fire Emblem Heroes was updated to Version 2.7.0 adding Tactics Drills and saw Special Heroes: A Sketchy Summer, Bound Hero Battle Revival: Raven & Lucius, Tempest Trials+: Sweet Dreams and more!
● Super Mario Run saw a Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker event begin where the items you get from the Super Bonus Game of Remix 10 will feature items only related to Toad and Toadette.

● Arc System Works announced Psikyo Collection Vol. 1 for retail release on Nintendo Switch in Korea this year and which includes Strikers 1945, Sol Divide, Samurai Aces and Gunbird.

● Media Create reported that the Nintendo Classic Mini Family Computer Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Version sold 111,000 units in its opening weekend (the original Famicom model sold 262,961 whilst the Super Famicom version sold 368,913).
● Last week’s Media Create charts saw Mario Tennis Ace(s) as number one for the third week selling 32,697 and surpassing 200,000. Nintendo Switch was the best-selling hardware again with 44,237.
Kinopio-kun teased a Captain Toad Treasure Tracker sequel on the official Nintendo LINE account: “The great adventure between Captain Toad and I have only just begun…”
