● A huge day at Japanese retail today with launches of Octopath Traveler and Captain Toad, as well as the Off the Hook amiibo and the return of the Splatoon 2 bundle. Preorders also opened up for the new Super Smash Bros. and Pokémon Let’s Go games and the new Smash Bros. amiibo. Smash and Pokémon are listed as requiring 16GB and 4.6GB respectively. Nintendo Co., Ltd. stock is up 1.84% too!

● Colopl announced an all new project Shironeko New Project action RPG for release on Nintendo Switch in 2020, based on the hit smartphone game that Nintendo have an ongoing lawsuit with them for! Teaser trailer added here.
● Nintendo updated Splatoon 2 to Ver.3.2.0 adding Pearl and Marino amiibo support, along with changes to Multiplayer, Ranked Battle, Salmon Run, Octo Expansion and more.
● Nintendo will reduce the price of both ARMS and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by 30% from 20 July – 02 August with both games reduced from ¥6,458 to around ¥4,520 ($40).
● Nintendo also added the six songs from Xenoblade 2, including “Drifting Soul" and “One Last You”, to the Karaoke JOYSOUND for Nintendo Switch playlist.
● Capcom dated Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection International for Japan for 25 October priced at ¥5,389 for physical, ¥4,860 digital, and ¥26,870 for a Complete Edition including framed print, tarot cards and sleeves for all 12 games! Trailer added here.
● 5pb. announced that the Nintendo Switch version of the visual novel Memories Off -Innocent Fille- will release in Japan on 25 October priced at ¥7,344 for physical and ¥6,480 for digital. Trailers added here.

● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will see Julian, Pekoe and Boone come visit your campsite in a couple of days time!
● Fire Emblem Heroes players received 10 free Orbs due to an issue where players were unable to properly summon Heroes from the A Sketchy Summer summoning event.
● Super Mario Run will see a Captain Toad themed event in a few hours (will make a separate post when live!).

● Arc System Works announced Psikyo Collection Vol. 1 for retail release on Nintendo Switch in Korea this year and which includes Strikers 1945, Sol Divide, Samurai Aces and Gunbird.
● Koei Tecmo announced they will be localising Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World (Nelke to Densetsu no Renkinjutsushi Tachi ~Aratana Daichi no Atelier~ in Japan) this Winter. Check out the teaser site.

● Media Create reported that the Nintendo Classic Mini Family Computer Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Version sold 111,000 units in its first week (the original Famicom model sold 262,961 whilst the Super Famicom version sold 368,913).
● Kinopio-kun teased a Captain Toad sequel on the official Nintendo LINE account: “The great adventure between Captain Toad and I have only just begun…” Check out the image and video here.
