Nintendo Direct: E3 2018
Welcome to our live coverage of Nintendo Direct: E3 2018. I’ll be covering the Japanese feed, although content should be exactly the same. All we offically know is that we will “get to look at Nintendo Switch games for 2018, including the recently announced Super Smash Bros.”!
● And it begins! Giant mecha! Daemon × Machina by Marvelous. Due 2019.
● Xenoblade 2: Torna the Golden Country DLC announced for September 2018.
● Mew will be available with every Pokéball Plus.
● Super Mario Party announced for Nintendo Switch! 5 October.
● Fire Emblem: Three Houses announced for Nintendo Switch. Spring 2019.
● Several eShop games including Fortnite, then a montage (including Dragon Ball FighterZ). I’ll fill in the blanks (Overcooked 2, Killer Queen Black, Hollow Knight) shortly!
● New Octopath Traveler demo arriving on 15 June (14 in North America).
● Super Smash Bros. time. I’ll do a separate post with all the characters, but the Ice Climbers are back! Snake! Game is called Ultimate in the West. Special in the East! All series’ characters are playable! Daisy added. GameCube controller support confirmed. Ridley also added! 7 December! The end!
