● Two new Pokémon-related trademark applications were filed from Nintendo Co., Ltd., Creatures Co., Ltd. and Game Freak Inc. with the first, a 3D trademark for the hat of Ash Ketchum (Satoshi in Japan), and the second, a videogame trademark for ポケスク (Pokesucu) which is an abbreviation of Pokémon Scramble (Pokémon Rumble).

● The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild finally reached the one million mark at retail in Japan. The Switch version is at 870,895 thus Wii U is now at over 130K (the last data we had was 117K).
● Microïds announced a remake of the excellent arcade platformer Toki (JuJu Densetsu in Japan) for Nintendo Switch releasing worldwide in 2018.
● Chosuido announced the visual novel ghostpia for Nintendo Switch which will be an improved port of the iOS version and published by room6.
● D3 Publisher announced THE Mahjong and a retail version of THE Misshitsukara no Dasshutsu ~Unmei o Tsunagu 35 no Nazo~ (Escape Trick: 35 Fateful Enigmas) both for 21 June priced at ¥3,024.
● Chorus Worldwide announced both the retro arcade style skate game The Videokid and the point-and-click adventure The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle Episode 2: A Bleaker Predicklement for the eShop.
● Kemco announced the JRPG Asdivine Hearts for the eShop next week (12 April) priced at ¥1,080.
● SilverStar Japan announced the racing game Drone Fight for the eShop next week (12 April) priced at ¥500.
● Campo Santo LLC announced the first-person narrative adventure Firewatch for Switch where it is expected to cost ¥1,980.
● Rainy Frog will publish Forever Entertainment’s Sparkle 2 EVO under the new name of Shinka no Himitsu (literally Secret of Evolution) in May priced at ¥500.
● Fiery Squirrel will also be releasing their upcoming 2D shooter Cosmos Defenders in Japan with more information coming shortly.
● Kakehashi Games are localising the breakdance battle game game Floor Kids for release on the Switch eShop in Japan although no release date.
● Experience dated the horror adventure game Shiin (Death Mark) for Nintendo Switch release on 28 June 2018 priced at ¥5,184.
● Dorasu announced Ema Sakura as the next star for their Electric Love series with Shin · Den Ai 「Nani ga Hoshii no?」 ~Ema Sakura~ releasing later this month on the eShop.

● Atlus will officially announce the next mainline Sekaiju no Meikyuu (Etrian Odyssey) game for Nintendo 3DS on 10 April via a four minute video presentation.
● The Japanese 3DS Theme Shop saw the third theme from Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island priced at ¥200.

● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw the second half of Zipper’s Wonderland Event and the final leg of the Super Mario Crossover Event with Gulliver, special memories, new bugs, fishies and more coming soon!
● Fire Emblem Heroes saw Summoning Focus: Cooldown Bonuses, Quests for Chain Challenge and Squad Assault, Voting Gauntlet: Bunny Battle Ballot, Summoning Focus: 4★ and 5★ Heroes, and much more!
● Miitomo saw the return of the “A fairy-tale world! Little Red Riding Hood” stages, the new “Big top fashion! Miitomo Circus [A]” stage and the return of the “Welcome to Miitomo School! Smart Dresser 2” stages.
● Super Mario Run saw the return of the Friendly Run Event where you’ll receive Rally Tickets whether you win or lose at Friendly Run.
● Pokémon GO added the Legendary Pokémon Latias And Latios appear in Raid Battles from now until 05 June.

● The Nintendo UK Online Store had a listing for Spyro the Dragon Remastered which has since been taken down.
● An SNK 40th Anniversary Collection was announced for Fall 2018 including both 1080p HD versions of arcade and console games from 1979 – 1989.

● Konami have purchased the Goemon domain name (http://www.goemon.com) although it currently just forwards to an outdated site.
● Nintendo are one of the sponsors of BitSummit Volume 6 which takes place in Kyoto from 12 – 13 May 2018.
