Weekend News Update With Splatfest Results, Plus YU-NO And Remothered Both Announced For Switch!

● The ninth Splatfest saw Popular models of Nike trainers beat Latest models 2-1, winning the Solo and Team battles with 51% in both, but only managing 40% of the Popularity vote. Results announcement video added here.
● 5pb announced the visual novel game Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO (YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World) for Nintendo Switch.
● Stormind Games announced that the Clock Tower-inspired horror game Remothered: Tormented Fathers is also coming to Switch although currently no publisher for Japan.
● The Nintendo USB Microphone for Switch is due for release on 02 April. View pictures and a preorder link here.
● Persona Q2 was again the most wanted Nintendo platform game in this week’s Famitsu Most Wanted. View the full list here.
● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw animals #72-75 join the game with Bam, Broccolo, Snake and Merry all pictured here. An Alice in Wonderland themed event was also teased (here).
● Fire Emblem Heroes saw an update to Special Maps: Rival Domains where players will earn a bonus for defeating foes with cavalry allies, as well as Bound Hero Battle Revival: Ninian & Hawkeye, limited-time special quests and Blessed Gardens: New Map adding Grotto of Earth.
● Miitomo saw Short Dungarees, Gingham-Lined High Top Trainers and Primary School Rucksack added to the Shop (pictured here) and the return of both “Cute Chinese creations! Miitomo Chinese Fashion” Miitomo Drop stages (pictured here).
● Super Mario Run saw the return of the x 1.2 Event where Bonus Medals you can collect in Remix 10 will be multiplied by 1.2 until 6 April.
● Potentially big news: Bushiroad have applied for a Cardfight!! Vanguard Zero trademark for a home videogame console game. The last three games all came to Nintendo 3DS.
