● Takara Tomy Arts announced their first Zoids game for 12 years with Zoids Wild for Switch with a new anime and a merchandise line also coming.

Nintendo Switch celebrated its first anniversary on 3 March!

● Silver Star Japan announced Rabi × Laby -Puzzle Out Stories- for Nintendo Switch at retail on 24 May priced at ¥4,104.

● 3goo announced Urban Trial Playground for Switch at retail in Japan on 24 May priced at ¥4,730. 

● Oizumi Amuzio will publish Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition at retail in Japan on 31 May priced at ¥6,264.

● Starsign announced Party Bingo for Switch releasing on 15 March priced at ¥500. It’ll be known as ‘Bingo for Nintendo Switch’ in the rest of the world.

● Bandai Namco announced that Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Storm Trilogy for Nintendo Switch will release on 26 April priced at ¥7,344.

● And Hamster announced their next ACA NEOGEO games with Real Bout Garou Densetsu, Sonic Wings 3, World Heroes 2 JET, Sengoku Denshou 2001, Samurai Spirits III, Ghost Pilots, Gururin, Stakes Winner and Real Bout Garou Densetsu Special.

● Nintendo announced they will be terminating the StreetPass Relay service for Nintendo 3DS on 28 March 2018 at 10:00 JST.

● Atlus announced a Shin Megami Tensei IV & FINAL Double Hero Pack for 3DS release on 19 April containing both Shin Megami Tensei IV versions and priced at ¥5,378.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment’s announced Cho Sentouchuu Kyuukyoku no Shinobu to Battle Player Choujou Kessen Welcome Price for 19 April 2018 priced at ¥3,024.

● Rainy Frog announced that they will be publishing 80’s Overdrive for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on 14 March priced at ¥800.

● Spheroids is confirmed for release on the Japanese Wii U eShop next week (7 March) priced at ¥500 and is the last Wii U game announced for Japan.

● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw Leif’s Spring Flowers Event begin and Celeste available via crafting her telescope for 350 Leaf Tickets with Gulliver coming soon!

Fire Emblem Heroes saw a 5★ version of Ike available after clearing Xenologue 3, The People’s Hero, plus a Legendary Hero Summoning Event – Ephraim: Legendary Lord.

● A Kirby Star Allies demo is now available in Europe, Australasia and North America. 

● The next North American and European Splatfest sees the age old question, which came first? Team Chicken or Team Egg? It begins on 9 March at 20:00 PT.

● NIS America will publish Happy Birthdays on 5 June in North America and 8 June in Europe.

● The roguelike Bit Dungeon+ is coming to Switch on 8 March. It’s available in Japan on Wii U and 3DS with the Switch localisation expected.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. were awarded the AMD (Association of Media in Digital) Excellence Award in Japan for the Nintendo Switch console. The awards ceremony will be in the Meiji Kinenkan in Tokyo on 12 March at 16:30 JST.

The Wall Street Journal report that Nintendo are looking to peripherals to lift the pace of Nintendo Switch hardware sales in year two instead of a hardware redesign.
