Genyo Takeda Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Nintendo Co., Ltd. legend Genyo Takeda was honoured with a ‘Lifetime Achievement’ Award at this year’s DICE Awards. I’ve enclosed all the Nintendo related winners below with Takeda’s acceptance speech embedded below the bump.
ー The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild received ‘Game of the Year’, ‘Outstanding Achievement in Game Design’, ‘Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction’ and ‘Adventure Game of the Year’ Awards.
ー Snipperclips received the ‘Family Game of the Year’ and ‘D.I.C.E. Sprite’ Awards.
ー Mario Kart 8 Deluxe received the ‘Racing Game of the Year’ Award.
ー FIFA 18 received the ‘Sports Game of the Year’ Award.
ー Metroid: Samus Returns received the ‘Handheld Game of the Year’ Award.
ー Fire Emblem Heroes received the ‘Mobile Game of the Year’ Award.
ー Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle received the ‘Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year’ Award.
ー Super Mario Odyssey received the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design’ Award.
