● Splatoon 2 became the first Nintendo Switch game to sell over two million copies at retail in Japan.
● Nintendo announced Pearl and Marina (Tentacles/Off the Hook) amiibo for later on in 2018.
● Kadokawa Games announced the strategy RPG God Wars: Nihon Shinwa Taisen for Nintendo Switch in 2018.
● SmileBoom announced they are bringing a version of Petit Computer to Nintendo Switch.
● Gal Metal! opened with just 1,373 units sold in its opening week using Dengeki data.

● Yokai Watch Busters 2: Hihou Densetsu Banbaraya has now sold over half a million retail copies in Japan.
● Ponos announced that Tobidasu! Nyanko Daisensou (The Battle Cats POP!) has been downloaded over 600,000 times on 3DS.
● SystemSoft Alpha have postponed Daisenryaku Daitoua Koboshi DX ~Dainiji Sekai Taisen~ from 15 March to Spring 2018.
● Rainy Frog announced the racing game 80′s Overdrive for the Japanese 3DS eShop in March priced at ¥800.

● Wii U saw its planned penultimate release with Chronicles of Teddy- Harmony of Exidus which priced at ¥1,500.

● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw a major update (including a Brake Tapper fruit machine), a new event (Crystal Collection) and new animals (Dotty, Octavian, Eugene, Fuchsia and Freya).
● Super Mario Run saw the return of the Loads of Coins event until 02 March.

● The court case between Nintendo Co., Ltd. and Colopl Co., Ltd. regarding infringement of patent rights for Shiro Neko Project began at the Tokyo District Court.
● Nintendo Co., Ltd. applied for a trademark in South Korea for HAT-001 which is some kind of wireless device.
● Level-5 announced a Yokai Watch Shadow Side anime debuting on 13 April with a game also planned.
