Wednesday News Update with Super Mario Odyssey selling 1 million, Kaiji announced and 10 Second Run released! 

Super Mario Odyssey has sold over one million in Japan and is the best-selling 3D Mario title! Switch hardware should also be at three million units right now!

● The DSiWare 10 Second Run came to Switch today as 10 Second Run Returns published by Blue Print and priced at ¥654. Promo video added here.

● Solid Sphere announced the manga title Kaiji ~Zetsubou no Tekkotsu Watari~ twill release on Switch next week (28 December) priced at ¥999.

● Teyon Japan’s first and second Switch games will be localisations of Human: Fall Flat and Tallowmere both scheduled for next week (28 December) priced at ¥1,500 and ¥700 respectively.

● Winlight announced Jan Navi Mahjong Online for the Switch eShop on 29 January 29, 2018 priced at ¥980 and allowing online play with docomo, softbank, Android, iOS and PC.

● JContents released the Sugoroku game Platinum Train ~Nihon Juudan Tetsudou no Tabi~ on the eShop today as a free download with in-app purchases. Launch trailer here.

● Media-5 released the English learning software Learn With Nanami! TOEIC® LISTENING AND READING TEST Complete Master on the eShop too priced at ¥3,780.

● And Annapurna Interactive also released the acclaimed puzzler Gorogoa on the eShop today priced at ¥1,500.

● Hamster confirmed ACA NEOGEO The King of Fighters ‘96will be coming to the eShop next week (28 December) priced at ¥823. Arcade Archives: Double Dragon hasn’t yet been confirmed however.

● Coatsink Software confirmed their hand-drawn platformer Shu will come to Japan on 23 January 2018 priced at ¥1,100.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst will add RAY (Mighty No. 9), Copen (Azure Striker Gunvolt) and Kurona (Gal☆Gun 2) as DLC on 28 December.

Dragon Marked for Death is now listed as a 2018 release.

● D3 Publisher are publishing Gyakuten Yoshiwara ~Ougiya Hen~ (The Men of Yoshiwara: Ohgiya) on the Switch eShop this Winter. Check out the opening movie here.
