Monday News Update with Pac-Man game coming to Switch, Future Card Buddyfight to 3DS, new Zelda game begins, plus more news!

● Bandai Namco Entertainment announced PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 Plus for Switch featuring a two player co-op mode and releasing as a download only title on 22 February 2018 in the West (Japan should be confirmed soon!). Announcement trailer here. Image thanks to Classicgaming.cc.

● Eiji Aonuma mentioned in the latest The Legend of Zelda book Master Works that work on the next The Legend of Zelda game has already begun. Hidemaro Fujibayashi also told IGN that he has “lots of ideas and lots of motivation right now.”

● Kayak published the vertically scrolling shooter RXN -Raijin- on the Japanese Switch eShop today priced at ¥4,212. Launch trailer added here.

● And Angry Mob Games published the Smash Bros. inspired Brawlout in Japan too where it was priced at ¥2,100. Launch trailer added here

Fushigi no Gensokyo TOD -RELOADED- (Touhou Genso Wanderer) has been delayed on the Switch eShop from 21 December to 28 December 2017.

● The Japanese version of ‘Jump Up, Super Star!’ will be coming to Karaoke JOYSOUND for Nintendo Switch on 22 December. Owners of the Switch or Wii U versions of the game can play for free on 23 December from 10:00 ~ 17:59.

● Watch the promo videos for My Hero Academia: One’s Justice here. The game has also been confirmed for 2018 localisation!

● Rainy Frog tweeted that Dustoff Heli Rescue 2 (Combat! Search & Rescue in Japan!) is coming to PS4 worldwide this week. Japanese Switch owners have to wait until next month!

● FuRyu announced the third Future Card Buddyfight game for 3DS entitled Future Card Buddyfight Tanjou! Oretachi no Saikyou Buddy! and scheduled for release on 15 March 2018 priced at ¥6,458.

● Flyhigh Works will publish Majo to Yuusha III (Witch & Hero III) next week (27 December) priced at just ¥400. Promo video added here.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was updated to Version 1.1.0 adding the garden area, screenshot mode and share function. Some players also received 20 Leaf and 20 Request Tickets over some Holiday Event issues.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw the Special Heroes: Winter’s Envoy arrive with Lissa, Chrom, Robin and Tharja in winter outfits as part of a Special Heroes summoning event in the 5★ Focus.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was updated adding Video Capture. The game is one month away exactly until Japanese release!

● Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe announced that Dragon Quest Builders “builds a new home on Nintendo Switch on February 9th.”
