Monday News Update with Animal Crossing Mobile Direct, Shin Megami Tensei V and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 announced!
SWITCH
● Atlus announced that their Shin Megami Tensei title for Nintendo Switch will be Shin Megami Tensei V as a Switch exclusive. No release date yet but watch the reveal trailer here.
● Bandai Namco Entertainment announced One Piece Kaizoku Musou 3 Deluxe Edition (One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3) for Nintendo Switch to release on 21 December 2017 containing all 40 DLC from the PS versions from the beginning.
● Warner Japan will publish LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 for Nintendo Switch on 1 February 2018 priced at ¥6,156. Check out the box art and trailer here.
● Flyhigh Works will publish the retail version of VOEZ for Nintendo Switch on 25 January 2018 adding in controller support plus the ability to play in TV mode. The game has also been downloaded 45,000 times on Switch alone.
● Mebius will publish the visual novel Keiji J.B. Harold no Jikenbo Manhattan Requiem for Nintendo Switch on 26 October priced at ¥990. Check out the trailer here.

3DS
● Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced eShop sales for Dragon Ball Heroes Ultimate Mission X (¥6,156 → ¥4,900), Dragon Ball Fusions (¥6,156 → ¥3,700) and Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden (¥6,145 → ¥3,700) until 8 November. Trailer for DBHUMX here.
● Shigeru Ohmori told GameSpot that “with Pokémon Ultra Sun Moon we can treat it mainly as a project for our younger staff to work on and grow and develop their skills, while perhaps the more veteran, established members of the company can work on the upcoming project.”
MOBILE
● Nintendo announced an Animal Crossing Mobile Direct for 25 October at 12:00 JST (24 October in North America) with the mobile game finally set to be revealed. There will be no news on either the Switch or 3DS versions.
● Miitomo today saw new items added to the Miitomo Shop including the Rose Eyepatch, Devil’s Horns and Night Robe all pictured here
● And Fire Emblem Heroes today saw a new set of Tempest Trials, entitled Genealogy of Light begin plus new Log-In Bonuses until 6 November where you can receive up to 10 Orbs.
IMPORT
● Nintendo will release a New Nintendo 3DS XL Super Nintendo Edition in North America on 27 November 27 priced at $199.99 and coming with a full game download for Super Mario Kart.
● The Nintendo Switch version of 2064: Read Only Memories Integral is currently 85% complete and should release in February 2018.
● Arachnid Games have announced that the undersea adventure game Diluvion will be coming to Nintendo Switch.
MISCELLANEOUS
● Nintendo Co., Ltd. have applied for new standard character trademarks for Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Mario Kart, Mario, Koopa and Super Nintendo World for multiple monetising purposes.
● Eurogamer spoke with Shun Nakamura who said: “I really want to make Samba de Amigo on the Switch. I really, really want to make it!” and “The first time I saw the Switch, I thought oh my god – this is it!”
● COMG! sales are slow for Nintendo platforms this week although Super Mario Odyssey is now at 188 pre-orders, Pokémon Ultra Sun Moon at 605 and Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey at 62.
