Thursday Update with Super Famicom Mini now available, Rayman Legends coming to Japan, new Splatoon 2 map and more!
● Huge day for Nintendo today with the release of the Nintendo Classic Mini Super Famicom, two New Nintendo 2DS LL models (Black × Lime and White × Lavender), Mario & Luigi RPG 1 DX and two new amiibo (Kuribo and Nokonoko).
● Ubisoft Japan have confirmed that Rayman Legends for Nintendo Switch is coming to Japan in Spring 2018. Announcement trailer here.
● A new map will be added to Turf Wars and Ranked battles in Splatoon 2 from 11:00 JST tomorrow called Snapper Canal (Engawa Kasenjiki in Japan).
● A couple of new Pokémon Ultra Sun Moon trailers here showing a new Ultra Beast called UB Adhesive, a new team called Ultra Recon Squad, a new area called Ultra Megalopolis and more.
● Inti Creates announced that Blaster Master Zero has sold over 110,000 copies worldwide. There’s some free wallpaper (here) Version 1.4 is also now available (in Japan – tomorrow in the west) with a Boss Rush mode and more. Update trailer here.
● Nintendo Switch sold a further 74,500 last week in Japan. Fire Emblem Musou sold 40,606 on Switch and 21,548 on 3DS. Check out the full charts here.
● Digitimes are reporting that Nintendo have recently raised orders of Nintendo Switch units to two million per month. Thanks to My Nintendo News.
● Nintendo Co., Ltd. have posted information on their ‘Nintendo Internship 2018’ programme looking for graduates who finish university/graduate school by the end of March 2019. Apply here.

● Yacht Club’s David D’Angelo told Games Industry that Shovel Knight has “sold more units out of the gate than any other platform” on Nintendo Switch.
● Fire Emblem Heroes today added a Summoning Focus: The Blood of Dragons with two blocks: A featuring Tiki, Corrin (M), Fae and Nina, and B featuring Tiki, Nowi, Corrin (F) and Sophia.
