● Square Enix developer Hajime Tabata spoke to Famitsu and told them emphatically “There are no plans to release Final Fantasy XV on the Nintendo Switch" Read the full interview (in Japanese) here.

● Culture Brain Excel announced the latest game in the Choujin Baseball/Baseball Simulator series which began on the Famicom/NES with Choujin Baseball Stadium ~Nekketsu Story~ scheduled for October release on Nintendo 3DS priced at ¥500.

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. have applied for Joy-Con image trademarks for the purpose of video game controller and storage etc. Images of the full application posted here.

● Koei Tecmo Games announced DLC for Fire Emblem Musou (Warriors) with packs for Fire Emblem if (Fates), Fire Emblem: New Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light (Shadow Dragon) and Fire Emblem Awakening.

● The Lost Sphear demo is now available in Japan requiring 793 MB and is in Japanese only.

● The total attendance for Tokyo Game Show 2017 (which has now finished) was 254,311 visitors with Tokyo Game Show 2018 announced for 20-23 September 20 to 23.
