● There are 46 Nintendo Switch games at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, 9 Nintendo 3DS games (down from 36 from last year) and 3 Wii U games (down from 13).

● Hamster announced five more ACA NEOGEO series games for Nintendo Switch with Burning Fight, Metal Slug X, The King of Fighters ’95, Robo Army and Mutation Nation.

● Asobimo announced that the smartphone 3D action MMORPG Avabel Online is coming to Nintendo Switch although no release date has been made.

● The Nintendo 3DS tower defence game Samurai Defender is also heading to Nintendo Switch courtesy of Flyhigh Works along with Rive, Splasher and several others.

● Intergrow confirmed that they will be publishing Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch in Japan. No release date at present.

● Intergrow also confirmed Farming Simulator: Nintendo Switch Edition will release in Japan on 14 December 2017.

● The Pokémon Company have released a new smartphone app Pokémon Playhouse for 3-5 year olds. It’s not currently available in Japan. Trailer here.

● 5pb. executive director Chiyomaru Shikura told Weekly Famitsu that the Nintendo Switch version of Steins;Gate Elite will be the same as the PlayStation 4 version. Debut trailer here.

● Konami announced an update to Super Bomberman R adding a new Grand Prix mode, a new Crystal rule plus three new Bombers: Reiko Hinomoto Bomber (from Rumble Roses), Anubis Bomber and Jehuty Bomber (both from Zone of the Enders).

● Koei Tecmo Games announced that Celica from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will be in Fire Emblem Musou although no Alm announcement. Trailer here.

Monster Hunter Stories will be updated to Version 1.3 this Winter adding a new quest, more character customisation, ability to raise 400 monsters and more. Trailer here.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch saw Future Trunks Edition DLC Pack available from today priced at ¥750 (¥700 for this week) adding the characters Goku Black, Zamasu and Bojack plus a ton of other content.

Fire Emblem Heroes today added Fire Emblem Musou Special Maps available to play to celebrate the release of the Nintendo Switch/New Nintendo 3DS game on 28 September in Japan.
